Phil White has just returned from an 18,000-mile, around-the-world bicycle trip. White had two reasons for making thisepic journey. First of all, he wanted to use the trip to raise money for charity, which he did. He raised £70,000 for the British charity, Oxfam. White's second reason for making the trip was to break the world record and become the fastest person to cycle around the world. He is still waiting to find out whether he has broken the record or not.

   White set off from Trafalgar Square, in London, on 19th June, 2004 and was back 299 days later. He spent more than 1,300 hours in the saddle (车座) and destroyed four sets of tyres and three bike chains. He had the adventure of his life crossing Europe first, and then the Middle East, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and finally the Americas. Amazingly, he did all of this with absolutely no support team. No jeep carrying food, water and medicine. No doctor. Nothing! Just a bike and a very, very long road.

   The journey was lonely and desperate at times. He also had to fight his way across deserts, through jungles and over mountains. He cycled through heavy rains and temperatures of up to 45 degrees, all to help people in need. There were other dangers along the road. In Iran, he was chased by armed robbers and was lucky to get away with the little money he had. The worst thing that had happened to him was having to cycle into a headwind on a road that crosses the south of Australia. For 1,000 kilometers he battled against the wind that was constantly pushing him. This part of the trip was slow, hard and depressing, but he made it in the end. Now Mr. White is back and wants to write a book about his adventures.

Why is work good for health? It is because work keeps people busy away from feeling lonely.  Researches show that people feel unhappy and worried when they have nothing to do. The happiest people are those who are busy. Many high achievers who love their jobs feel they are the happiest when they are working hard. They work as a bridge between their dream and reality, so they have energy every day. By working, people get to know each other. By taking part in all kinds of activities, they find friendship and warmth. This is helpful to health. The loss(丧失) of work means the loss of everything. It makes people down and it will cause more illnesses.

Besides, work makes one feel hopeful and proud. When a writer finishes his writing or a doctor successfully operates on a patient or a teacher sees his students grow, they are very happy.

From the above, we can come to a conclusion: the more you work, the happier and healthier you will be.

Five years ago, my mother, gave birth to a brother for me when I was 8. I have learned a lot from getting along with him. 

After he was born, I almost became a babysitter. I had to amuse him after school. I would make faces and sing to him when he was crying. Sometimes I even carried him everywhere in our yard to refresh him while my parents were busy. What I liked to do best was to feed him when looking after him. How cute he was as he tasted his favorite food! My parents often praised me happily, " As an elder brother, you've made contributions to looking after your younger brother. "

I have got happiness from sharing. When I was young, I was the only child in my family. I could get what I wanted from my parents and get my parents' whole love. I was a "Little Emperor". 

But now, as long as I get something good, I will share it with him. I remembered the year when he was three, he was fond of Rubik's cubes(魔方). I bought one for him with my lucky money as a birthday present When he got the toy, he was so happy that he laughed, hugged me and said, "Brother, I love you!

Thanks for spending these years together, with my family. It has taught me what responsibility means, what unselfishness means and what friendship means. 

Not only should I look after myself, but also I should pay attention to my family and my friends.

Liu Yuxi and Liu Hongjia decided {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(take) an RV trip after staying at home for a long time. 

There are many differences between RV trips and other {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(kind) of trips. "People should know when to leave and {#blank#}3{#/blank#} to live when the holiday starts. But we don't need to worry {#blank#}4{#/blank#} these problems when we travel," Liu Hongjia said. "On an RV trip, you can go or stop anywhere you want at any time."

In 2020, the two turned 30. They wanted to try something new {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(remember) the special year, so they took a "Rolling 30" trip. They drove about 14, 380 km from Shanghai to Xizang in 100 days. The RV trip was {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (enjoy). They went from a busy city to quiet nature. They saw Mount Qomolangma,{#blank#}7{#/blank#} (high) mountain in the world, from their RV. It was {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (real) great. Liu Yuxi and Liu Hongjia enjoyed {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(they) during the trip. "Our RV is so small, but it can take us to a big world. We really have {#blank#}10{#/blank#} great time," they said.

As kids ran towards the campfire, Miss King turned to Quill, "Just bring the kids watermelons and tell them a story." "Sure." said Quill, his hands becoming 1 . He was not a good storyteller. 

 Quill asked in a low voice, "What kind of story do you like? " A boy named Caden answered, "A ghost (鬼) story!" Alice rolled her eyes and other kids also shouted, "Quill will tell a 2 story, Caden." "A ghost story! " Caden 3 . Just then, Quill felt a pull from Emma, the quietest in the group, "I'm afraid of ghost stories."

Quill said 4 , "I'm going to tell. . . a. . . a toast story. " Caden 5 ," A toast story? I want a ghost story!" Quill said, "Long long ago, there was a piece of bread. . . named Bob." Some kids smiled. "One day, Bob was laid onto a wooden board. He started crying." "Bread can't cry!" Caden shouted. Quill's 6 turned red. 

"What happened next?" Emma asked. Quill had no idea, 7 he quickly looked at Caden, "Caden is going to tell us." Caden sat up, "Am I?" "Yes, it's a 8 story." Quill answered. Caden said 9 , "Bob was sure this was the end of his day. Then, a shining thing appeared over him."

"A knife!" Alice shouted. "Alice, it's your turn." Quill said. Alice added, "Then something dropped. The knife spread it all over Bob." "Salad cream." said Emma and 10 Quill's T-shirt. Alice continued, "Suddenly, a huge hand lifted Bob towards a big 11 . Bob screamed, "Help!"

Caden wanted to 12 , but Alice stopped him. Emma took a deep breath, and said, "Bob screamed again. The hand was surprised and 13 Bob. Bob ran away."

"So, Bob is 14 ." Caden added. 

"Not yet!" Emma shouted, sitting forward. Caden could feel his own 15 , as if he was also there with Bob. SNAP! Emma clapped her hands. Everyone jumped up and asked, "What happened?" "A dog ate him." Emma said, laughing.
