Mr. and Mrs. Brown are from America. They are now teaching English in Zhengzhou. Their son Jack is with them. Jack speaks English. They want him to learn some Chinese. Just to the n{#blank#}2{#/blank#} part of the mountains lived an old man called Yu Gong. He has lived theres{#blank#}3{#/blank#} he was a little child. One day, he called all his family together and said:"The two mountains are too much in the way. Let's move them away."Everyone agreed to have a try, e{#blank#}4{#/blank#} his wife. She said:"Are you crazy? An old man like you cannot even move a small hill, not to mention the two high mountains. You should give up."

However, Yu Gong wouldn't accept his wife's a{#blank#}5{#/blank#} and started to lead his children to dig the mountains. A man named Zhi Sou laughed at them and said:"You are so silly!You're so old and weak. How can you move the high mountains?"

"How do you know it is i{#blank#}6{#/blank#}?"Yu Gong said."My sons can c{#blank#}7{#/blank#}my work after my death. When my sons die, my grandchildren will keep doing it. So generations after generations, there's no end. But the mountains can't grow higher. Do you still think I am u{#blank#}8{#/blank#} to move them away?"

Several days later, the Heaven God h{#blank#}9{#/blank#} of Yu Gong's story. It greatly t{#blank#}10{#/blank#} the Heaven God, so he asked another god to take the two high mountains away.

The story tells us that as long as one is determined (有决心的) and sticks (坚持) to it long enough, anything can be done, no matter how difficult it is.

David is a 15-year-old boy and he is crazy about space. He always wonders how space stations work. For him, a space camp is 1 than any other camp in the world.

At the age of seven, David had 2 first astronaut (宇航员) training experience. He and his parents 3 to a Family Space Camp. They had a taste of what it was like to travel 4 space. Everything was magical. 5 excited David was!

As kids ran towards the campfire, Miss King turned to Quill, "Just bring the kids watermelons and tell them a story." "Sure." said Quill, his hands becoming 1 . He was not a good storyteller. 

 Quill asked in a low voice, "What kind of story do you like? " A boy named Caden answered, "A ghost (鬼) story!" Alice rolled her eyes and other kids also shouted, "Quill will tell a 2 story, Caden." "A ghost story! " Caden 3 . Just then, Quill felt a pull from Emma, the quietest in the group, "I'm afraid of ghost stories."

Quill said 4 , "I'm going to tell. . . a. . . a toast story. " Caden 5 ," A toast story? I want a ghost story!" Quill said, "Long long ago, there was a piece of bread. . . named Bob." Some kids smiled. "One day, Bob was laid onto a wooden board. He started crying." "Bread can't cry!" Caden shouted. Quill's 6 turned red. 

"What happened next?" Emma asked. Quill had no idea, 7 he quickly looked at Caden, "Caden is going to tell us." Caden sat up, "Am I?" "Yes, it's a 8 story." Quill answered. Caden said 9 , "Bob was sure this was the end of his day. Then, a shining thing appeared over him."

"A knife!" Alice shouted. "Alice, it's your turn." Quill said. Alice added, "Then something dropped. The knife spread it all over Bob." "Salad cream." said Emma and 10 Quill's T-shirt. Alice continued, "Suddenly, a huge hand lifted Bob towards a big 11 . Bob screamed, "Help!"

Caden wanted to 12 , but Alice stopped him. Emma took a deep breath, and said, "Bob screamed again. The hand was surprised and 13 Bob. Bob ran away."

"So, Bob is 14 ." Caden added. 

"Not yet!" Emma shouted, sitting forward. Caden could feel his own 15 , as if he was also there with Bob. SNAP! Emma clapped her hands. Everyone jumped up and asked, "What happened?" "A dog ate him." Emma said, laughing. 

There are four seasons in a year in the city. 

Spring is from March to May. The weather is sunny and warm. The temperature is from 5 to 18 {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. Everything begins to grow. It's a good time to go on a field trip. 

Summer is {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the hottest but wettest. In the southeast, there are many showers. And sometimes, in the morning the sun shines, but in the afternoon, it might {#blank#}3{#/blank#} cloudy and rainy. There are storms sometimes. So, people often take an umbrella. But in the northwest, it's dry and hot. 

Autumn comes in September. Best of all, the weather is not too cold or too hot. It's the best time to travel.

I like winter best compared to the other seasons. I'm not {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. I like it because it's snowy. I can make a snowman,{#blank#}5{#/blank#} and ski. It's also pleasant(令人愉快的) for me to take photos of snow with my new phone.
