The Ugly Duckling

It'sa hot summer. The mother duck is looking at her1 . She is very happy, and she is waiting. "Quack ! Quack !" the baby ducklings(鸭子) come out one by one. But the biggest egg is still there. At last, the duckling comes out. This duckling is very2 and ugly(丑的) , so they all call him "the ugly duckling " .

The ugly duckling is lonely(孤独的). No one3 him. His brothers and sisters don'twant to play with him. The other ducklings say to their mother, "He is so ugly. He is not your child." The mother duck is very4 . The ugly duckling cries, then he goes away(离开).

My dad didn't love me. My mom washed my clothes and cooked dishes. He just went to work every day and came home. He'd make a list of the 1 things I did and felt angry with me.
