    •Study

    Most students take the school bus to school. Some go to school by train. When they arrive at their classrooms, they put their homework in a box. Then one student will take it to the teachers' office.

    •Lunch

    Students often have lunch at school. The lunch time is usually from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. They can have free school lunch. They don't have to pay for it.

    •Uniforms

    Students often wear uniforms at school. On their uniforms, you can see the school logo(校徽). They think uniforms are important. When they go on a school trip, they all look the same. So students may not get lost. What's more, students don't need to worry about what to wear every day. Their parents don't have to buy expensive clothes for them, either.

Pubs are an important part of British life. Pubs, formally public houses, are common in towns and villages in England.People usually talk,eat, drink,meet their friends and relax there.You can order soft drinks like orange juice,cola or coffee ,but many people go to pubs to have an alcoholic drink.Many types of alcoholic drinks are available, but the most popular drink is beer.

Traditional English beer comes in a variety of local flavors and is called ‘draught'beer .All draught beer is served from a hand pump on the bar rather than in bottles or cans. Unlike American or other European beers, it is served cool but not cold.Nowadays,a lot of English people enjoy a European beers called lager（淡味啤酒）.This is lighter, more refreshing(清新的) and is served cold. Beer is sold in pint or half-pint glasses (a pint is just over half a litre).When you order a drink, ask for a ‘pint' or a ‘half' of the beer you want to try.

There is no waiter service in an English pub.You go to the bar and place your order to the pub staff. They will pour your drinks and pass them to you. They will then tell you how much to pay.You have to pay your drinks there and then. After receiving your change,you can carry your drinks back to a table to enjoy. It is usual for friends to take turns buying drinks for each other.This is known as'buying a round'.

Pubs sell cheap food too.The choice of food ranges(涉及) from small bar snacks such as crisps and peanuts ,to three-course meals.A popular meal during the summer months is a ‘ploughman's lunch '.This is a dish of bread ,cheese or ham ,and salad which is served cold.You will often find a pub's menu written on a blackboard .There may even be daily specials for you to try.

You must be at least 18 years old to buy alcohol(含酒精的饮料)in England. Children under 14 years old are not usually allowed inside a pub, but families with children can sit outside in the garden, known as the beer garden ,when the weather is warm .Parents are allowed to buy soft drinks for their children.

Pubs are places where people go to enjoy themselves .People like to drink, eat ,talk with friends and have a good time.If you go to an English pub ,you will get a true taste of English life.

Seal Island is a 200-meter long island in South Africa, which is surrounded by 55 to 57 degrees Fahrenheit waters and covered with over 60,000 seals and some birds. This island has been home to many birds and seals. You may think this island is a paradise. In fact, the island is not famous for the seals or birds. However, the real stars are the great white sharks that leap out of the water to catch the seals they are hunting.

You may think that there is no way for a 15-foot long, 3,000-pound shark to hurl its body out of the water and catch a seal in midair.Actually, these sharks are called "Air Jaws".

Over the years, the seals have gotten smarter. Now, they go out in groups of seven or eight to feed. They swim down on the sea floor, which gives them extra camouflage(掩饰). When they have to swim near the water surface, they swim in a zigzag(之字形的) pattern. But with all these tricks, they can still be outwitted(以智取胜) by the sharks. Usually, the sharks will take one seal away from its group and force it to swim on the surface, where it is easy to hunt. Sometimes, the seal is lucky and gets away, but most of them die in the process of trying to survive.

Every year, tourists go to see these amazing animals leap out of the water, sometimes flinging(抛) their whole bodies into the air when they want to catch the seals. Some people even want to go into shark cages to see the action from below! This is the reason why this island attracts thousands of tourists around the world every year.

 Recently, Shenzhen has got the"City Award" because of its smart city equipment, including smart parking (智能停 车 ), smart minibuses and smart subway(地铁) systems.

Parking solutions. Parking is a big problem in Shenzhen, such as during school runs, hospital visits or holidays. There are usually many students, patients and visitors. It is difficult for drivers to find parking places in this busy city, and sometimes they have to wait for spaces to open. To solve this problem, the city has provided smart parking features on the iShenzhen app. People can quickly find out the nearest parking lot and the best time to get there and even to book a parking place before travelling out.

 Smart minibuses. If you go to Qianhai, you can find some driverless minibuses there. People can get on these minibuses by scanning a QR code(扫二维码) through WeChat. There are also robottaxis and driverless trucks in Qianhai.

 Smart subways. Before the end of 2024, five new subway lines opened. There is more people-friendly and smarter equipment in the newly-built lines. For example, people could use the visual detection (人脸识别) system to help them get into the subway station faster and more safely.
