In the forest there lived a rhino（犀牛） and a monkey. The monkey was not very friendly and he troubled the rhino every day. Sometimes he pulled the rhino' s tail. Sometimes he jumped onto the rhino's back. But the rhino didn't get mad. He could stand everything patiently and never complained （抱怨）. 

Other animals in the forest knew that the monkey always made fun of the rhino. They got angry with the monkey， They even advised the rhino to punish the monkey. 

The rhino smiled and said that sometimes the monkey was unfriendly， but he was thankful to him. He thanked the monkey for teaching him to be patient. Other animals just kept silent with their heads down， without saying anything. At that time， the monkey was sitting in the tree and heard the rhino's words. He felt sorry for what he had done. 

He came down from the tree immediately. Then he came up to the rhino and said sorry to him. After that， the monkey and the rhino became friends， and they got on well with each other. 

Today is Sunday but Jack is going to school. He goes to tennis school. The tennis lessons will start1 ten o'clock. Jack is very 2 because his tennis teacher，Ms Brown，is a great teacher. She wants 3 Jack to be stronger and play better. 

Ms Brown tells Jack if he has4 good rest，eats healthy food and practises hard every day，he can 5 very strong and good at6 tennis. Jack believes her. He decides to eat a lot of fruit and vegetables and go to bed 7 every night. He also exercises a lot. 

In Jack's town，there isn't a public（公共的） place to play tennis8 Jack can't play tennis every day. Jack and his friend Emily often go 9 in the park after school. 

Next month，Emily will take tennis lessons 10 Jack. Jack is glad to hear about this ﹣ they can go to tennis school together!

We provide summer English courses and you will enjoy learning about American culture and improve your English. The courses last for 4 weeks. They start at the beginning of July and August. Our teachers are very experienced. They teach English classes for 4 hours a day. You can choose between small groups of 2 or 3, or larger groups of up to 15. We provide weekly tests to see the progress you're making with your language skills. We also provide books and other materials.

As well as learning English, we want you to experience life in the USA. You live with an American family and take part in American life. You have meals with them and do some activities with them, too. This is the most interesting part of the course. Many families create friendships with the students. Of course, if you prefer, we can arrange hotel accommodation.
Of course, you can do many things in Los Angeles. Every day we have activities after class. You can choose to take trips to Hollywood, Disneyland or the famous beaches around LA. You can also go to various shopping centres, sports centres, movies and concerts. There are also weekend visits organized to San Francisco and other places of interest in California.
