If you are writing or studying, it makes very much difference where the light comes from. People who use books and pens every day have to be especially careful about the way the light shines on their work.

Every house gets its light either from daylight through the windows—which is the very best to use—or from lamps or electricity (电器); but whichever kind of light it is, the way it shines towards our books or work is a matter of great importance to the eyes.

Take a book, sit with your back towards the window, and try to read. Your shadow (影子) falls all over the page and makes it almost as bad for your eyes as if you were in a dark room.

Now turn around and face the window. The page is in the shadow again, while the bright light is in your eyes.

Try sitting with your right side towards the window. This is very good for reading, but if you were writing, the shadow of your hand would fall across the page and bother (烦扰) you a little.

There is just one other way: sit with your left side to the window. Now everything is good for reading and for writing, too.

Whatever kind of light is in the room, the rule about the right to sit is always the same.

It is in Chengdu. It is a modern thematic site (专题性遗址) museum in China. There are two halls with a display (展示) area of nearly 12, 000 square meters in it. Welcome!

Gezai Opera(歌仔戏) started in Taiwan, China. It{#blank#}1{#/blank#} popular in the south of Fujian later. Watching Gezai Opera is wonderful. When the performers(表演者) tell a story, the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} play different kinds of music at the same time. Performers use different things to help tell the story. For example, colored flags can{#blank#}3{#/blank#} different feelings. Costumes(服装) also help tell the story. From the costumes, the audience(观众) knows if a character is a man or a woman and many other things.

The costumes are important and there are so many the characters' movements(动作). Each character has a way of {#blank#}4{#/blank#} and moving. The characters' movements tell the story just as much as {#blank#}5{#/blank#}voices. In Gezai Opera, there is an important character called the Wu Sheng. He does a lot of different kinds of movements, like jumping and kicking.

In Gezai Opera, Singing is a big part of the opera. The performers sing {#blank#}6{#/blank#}more than they speak. So singing is very important to a performer. The way performers sing Gezai Opera is {#blank#}7{#/blank#}. It takes many years for a performer to sing {#blank#}8{#/blank#}.

When singing, costumes, movements and other things come {#blank#}9{#/blank#} they make a great performance. The audience might enjoy and remember it for years {#blank#}10{#/blank#} watching it.

You may grow up with a no-snacking mom. She always tells you that snacks （零食）are bad for your health because they can make you fat and hurt your teeth. Well, mom may be right about most things in our life, but she isn't right about all snacks. It is true that there is a healthy way to snack. In fact, snacking in the right way can make you healthier! The right snacks can be good for us! After having some snacks, you don't need to eat too much at dinner and in this way, they can stop you from getting fat. Now let me tell you some rules to snack. 

The first rule about snacking is to make snacks by yourself. Do not buy snacks from the supermarket or food shops. Most of those snacks have too much sugar and salt in them. 

The second rule about snacking is to eat things that take longer for your body to process. Our body can process bread and cakes quickly. Try to have some cheese or yogurt to go along with some bread, and you have got a winning snack. 

The third rule about snacking is to remember water. For example, when you are working, maybe you are not hungry but tired. What you should do is to have a break. Your body might just be trying to tell you to drink some water. Have some water before you take out another snack to eat. A short break and some water might be all you really need. 

With one or two snack breaks during the day, you may find that you eat less （更少）at lunch and dinner. Smaller meals will help you to eat less food during your day. And eating less is a great way to start losing weight （减肥）. So, why not have a try?
