The Terracotta Warriors, one of the eight wonders of the world, have enjoyed international fame. Located in Xi'an in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, they are warriors of the first-ever emperor in1China or Qin Shi Huang in Chinese, Ying Zheng.

Even though I knew they are life-sized sculptures (雕塑), I was still2 when I saw them. I was lucky enough to3 the pit (深坑) and take a close look at them for the first time.

They were made around 2, 200 years ago. When I first got down into the pit, the sculptures scared me4some of them lacked body parts.

I was told that the Terracotta Warriors are not easy to preserve (保存;保护) for over thousands of years. But to my surprise, they were actually5 in color when they were first discovered. However, the color fell off6after being exposed in the air.

The difficulty of preservation is one of the reasons why they have stopped7out other pits. Although the Terracotta Warriors are breathtaking, they are only part of the Mausoleum (陵墓) of the First Qin Emperor.

Shen Wenxi, an expert and museum librarian of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, told me there's an even grander area8 man-made mountains, rivers and seas inside the emperor' s underground palace.

However, there is no plan to dig them until there are perfect9of protecting and preserving them. Experts are still busy restoring the relics (修复文物) that were10in the 1970s.

People drive in all countries (国家), but the rules can be different (不同). So you need to realize the rules before driving in other countries.

In the US, people can learn to drive at the age of sixteen. If you want to know the age in most countries, the answer is eighteen. Not every country lets young people drive. Some countries have special (特殊的) rules. In Cyprus, when people are driving, they can't eat or drink.

Driving on the right or left side of the road is also different. In Britain and Malaysia, people drive on the left. But people must drive on the right in the US, France and Canada. One country can also have different driving rules. People in Hong Kong drive on the left. But drivers in other places of China drive on the right, like Shanghai, Xi'an and Guangzhou.

There are other different driving rules between countries like using mobile phones. In Japan, people can't use mobile phones when they are driving, even if (甚至) they don't use them with their hands. But in Australia, drivers can talk on their mobile phones if they do not use their hands.

These days, a woman in Chengdu, Sichuan, is much welcomed on the Internet. Her name is Xie Hongying. She is 50 years old and people call her Auntie Xie kindly. You may want to 1 why so many people like her. Now you can find the reasons(原因) from her 2 . 

Auntie Xie sells 3 at the Chengdu Giant Panda Base. Her apples and figs are 4 and she sells them at very good prices. But these are not the only reasons. The Chengdu Giant Panda Base is a popular place to visit. Every day, Auntie Xie 5 many foreign(外国的) people come and go. And she finds it's 6 for them to buy things from the near stores. Because they can't speak Chinese. Then she thinks if she speaks 7 well, she can talk with them better. Also, she may sell more fruit. So she studies English hard when she is 8 . And when she has difficulty with a new word (单词), she opens her 9 and looks it up. Now, she can talk with the foreign visitors easily and her fruit sells much better than before. 

To have a better life, the 50-year-old Auntie Xie is brave enough(足够勇敢的) to 10 , study and try. That's the most important reason why so many people like her.
