In traditional Chinese medicine, food is divided (划分) into two types; hot and cold. Both kinds of food affect (影响) your body {#blank#}1{#/blank#} different ways, So, having 57. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} balanced diet is safe and {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (health) for your body.

    Some examples of hot food {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (be) berries, mutton, and ginger (生姜) . If you eat too much of them, {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (certainly) things might happen to your body. You may start to sweat a lot and feel pain in your back, or even grow gray hair! If these things happen to you, you should avoid (避免) spicy food, coffee, or sugar.

    On  {#blank#}6{#/blank#} other hand, too much cold food like tomatoes and potatoes can also cause problems. It may make your hands and  {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (foot) cold. It also makes your body temperature lower.

    Besides what we eat, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} we eat is also important. You should always sit down and chew (咀嚼) carefully. Don't make {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (you) busy with other things, such as watching TV or {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (read) a newspaper. Finally, it's best to eat three meals a day at regular times.

The Terracotta Warriors, one of the eight wonders of the world, have enjoyed international fame. Located in Xi'an in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, they are warriors of the first-ever emperor in1China or Qin Shi Huang in Chinese, Ying Zheng.

Even though I knew they are life-sized sculptures (雕塑), I was still2 when I saw them. I was lucky enough to3 the pit (深坑) and take a close look at them for the first time.

They were made around 2, 200 years ago. When I first got down into the pit, the sculptures scared me4some of them lacked body parts.

I was told that the Terracotta Warriors are not easy to preserve (保存;保护) for over thousands of years. But to my surprise, they were actually5 in color when they were first discovered. However, the color fell off6after being exposed in the air.

The difficulty of preservation is one of the reasons why they have stopped7out other pits. Although the Terracotta Warriors are breathtaking, they are only part of the Mausoleum (陵墓) of the First Qin Emperor.

Shen Wenxi, an expert and museum librarian of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, told me there's an even grander area8 man-made mountains, rivers and seas inside the emperor' s underground palace.

However, there is no plan to dig them until there are perfect9of protecting and preserving them. Experts are still busy restoring the relics (修复文物) that were10in the 1970s.

China covers a large area and there are 56 peoples in it. So China has a variety of Chinese food with different but mouth-watering flavor (风味). Generally speaking, Chinese food can be mainly divided into eight cuisines (菜系). Let's have a look at some of them.

Le Guoqiang is a student from Central South University of Forestry and Technology. Le had a terrible stutter (口吃)when he was a child. It made him feel worried. His parents were worried, too. They took him to many hospitals, and the doctors said that was because he was too afraid to talk. 

To help their son, Le's parents asked him to go to the vegetable market and buy vegetables every day during the summer holiday. He tried to talk to people he didn't know. It was difficult for him, but he could talk to people slowly at that time. 

When Le went to univerity, he dreamed to become a judge (法官). He decided to overcome (克服)his problem. He had to work hard to make his dream come true. He sturred gwing speeches(演讲)on the bus every weekend and practicing talking in front of many people. "I am not here to sell. I want to talk about myself and share my dream. I hope to overcome my stutter, "Le said in a speech. 

At first, Le was very nervous when he was giving his speech. After many times of practice, Le now feels relaxed. Le is a great boy. He faces his problem and fights for his dream. What do you think of him?

Do you know anything about volleyball? It is {#blank#}1{#/blank#} team sport played with a ball and a net. There are two main kinds today — team volleyball. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} beach volleyball. Team volleyball is played indoors on a hard court with six players each team. Beach volleyball is played outdoors on the sand with two players each team. 

It is {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(interest) to play volleyball. When you play with {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(friend), you can play with any number of people and anyone can join in. To be competitive, a player needs {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(take) lots of practice. Good height and jumping ability help a lot. 

Volleyball {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(invent) by William G. Morgan in 1895. He worked for an association and was trying to think up a game that would be fun. Of course, the rules {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(change) a lot since then. However, it {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (quick) became a popular sport at the association. The name "volleyball" came about {#blank#}9{#/blank#} a man named Alfred Halstead noticed how the game had a volleying nature. 

Volleyball was first played {#blank#}10{#/blank#} an Olympic sport in the 1964 Olympics. Japan won the first gold medal in women's volleyball and the USSR(苏联) won the first gold medal in men's volleyball. 

We made a survey among different age groups on preferred ways of watching TV programs. The following is the analysis (分析)of the survey results. We hope to give suggestions to advertisers based on the findings.

TV viewers of different ages were asked about their primary way of watching TV. The results can be seen in the pie chart, which shows that although live TV is still popular, it is now preferred by just under half of those surveyed. Watching recorded programs (DVR) is the second most popular way (23%), with online streaming (直播) in the third place (17%).

Of the people who choose each of the three main viewing kinds, the graph shows what percentage of these viewing kinds are in each of the seven age groups. To help advertisers look for target(目标)age groups, the report will focus on the data(数据) shown in this graph.

The survey shows that live TV viewers are older in age, so advertising through live TV will be less helpful for products aimed at younger people.

On demand or DVR viewers are more likely to be aged 25-54. This is the best kind for advertisers aiming at a wide age group. But it should be remembered that they are likely to skip advertisements when watching recorded programs. They think it is a waste of time to watch ads.

Online streaming viewers are typically younger in age (under 25). Although they now make up less than a fifth of viewers, the number is likely to rise in the near future.

Generally, it is likely that the data for the three kinds will become almost the same in the near future.
