Last night one of my Chinese friends took me to a concert of Chinese folk music. The piece which was played on the erhu especially moved me. The music was strangely beautiful ，but under the beauty I sensed a strong sadness and pain. The piece had a simple name，Erquan Yingyue （Moon Reflected on Second Spring），and I began to understand the sadness in the music. 

The music was written by Abing，a folk musician who was born in the city of Wuxi in 1893. His mother died when he was very young. Abing's father taught him to play many musical instruments，such as the drums，and in the year of 1910，Abing was known for his musical ability. However，Abing's life grew worse. He was very poor. Not only that，he developed a serious illness and became blind. For several years，he continued to sing and play on the streets. He performed in this way for many years. 

Abing's amazing musical skills made him very popular during his lifetime. By the end of his life，he could play over 600 pieces of music. Many of these were written by Abing himself. It is a pity that only six pieces of music in total were recorded for the future world to hear，but his popularity continues to this day. Today（伤口） from their own sad or painful experiences.

Many people draw on the paper, but few paint on stones. Mo Wuying, an artist from Chongqing, has been doing this for more than eight years. And the animals on stones are {#blank#}1{#/blank#}( true) lifelike.

The poses of animals she creates {#blank#}2{#/blank#} ( decide) by the shapes of the stones. Mo says it is{#blank#}3{#/blank#} art form that requires creative {#blank#}4{#/blank#} ( idea).

According to Mo, the first step is to draw the outline of an animal on a stone. Then she colors it {#blank#}5{#/blank#}( make) it lively. After that, she adds all the details.

Driven by her love of painting from a young age, Mo has been improving her stone painting skills for years. {#blank#}6{#/blank#} first, she tried her hand at sceneries and characters. In the past three years, she has focused on painting animals. Mo {#blank#}7{#/blank#}( finish) hundreds of stone paintings so far." The longer I work on it, the {#blank#}8{#/blank#} ( interesting) I find it," said Mo proudly. She sometimes even forgets to eat or sleep {#blank#}9{#/blank#} the painting takes up all her attention.

My wife and I were in the forest, with our children. We were taking pictures of some birds {#blank#}1{#/blank#} our daughter Lisa shouted suddenly, "Dad! A bear is right behind {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (we)!" Then I saw that small bear. It {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(move) quietly behind us at that time.

Jenny was in senior high school several 8  later. One day her English teacher, Mrs Slaton, gave the class a 9  about what they would be doing in the future. Jenny thought hard about it, "Pilot? No way! Artist? No talent! Waitress? I can do it. "10  she wrote it down. What Jenny wrote surprised Mrs Slaton, "Is that what you are really interested in? I think you will be 11  to do something full of more challenges. " Jenny felt excited, but she was still 12  that she would be laughed at again. The teacher continued, "Every one of you owns talent. If you don't go for your dream, 13  will do it for you. " Hearing that, with great courage she wrote down her old dream. 

Mrs Slaton's words 14  Jenny a lot. After ten years of hard work, Jenny's dream came true. She became an excellent 15  in the world. Stick to your dream if it's what you really want!

Taihang Grand Canyon National Forest Park is a natural wonder. It lies in the{#blank#}1{#/blank#} part of Huguan County. There are some sweet springs, silver waterfalls, clear {#blank#}2{#/blank#}and interesting caves there. 

I always remember the journey going there. In the early morning, we began to{#blank#}3{#/blank#} the canyon. At{#blank#}4{#/blank#} , the canyon was silent. With more and more people coming, the canyon became noisy. There were so many trees and we didn't know most of them. Some signs along the paths told us something about different sights. We heard the loud waterfalls far away from them. When we got near, we{#blank#}5{#/blank#} cool at once. The waterfalls were high and pretty. We also visited some other sights and had great fun there.
