Hello, everyone! I'd like to tell you something about a famous scientist named Qian Xuesen. He was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province on December 11, 1911. After he graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1934, he got a chance to study in USA. After he graduated, he became a teacher as well as a researcher who studied rockets and missile theories.

    When he was 44, he returned to his motherland and the country's space research was almost a blank. In 1956, he set up the first research institute of rockets and missiles. He made such important contributions to the missile and space programs that he was honored as "The Father of China's Missiles". The Chinese people are proud of him.

    He passed away on October 31, 2009 at the age of 98, but all the Chinese will remember him forever. His devotion to his country was expressed in his saying, "My career is in China, my success is in China and my destination is in China!" When someone said he could make much more money if he stayed in the United States, he laughed and said," My family name is Qian, but I don't like qian." His spirit encourages us to love our country and devote ourselves to science.

Rock climbing（攀岩） did not become a sport until late in the 1900s. But now it has become a popular outdoor activity. While rock climbing may still be necessary for mountain climbing，most people just climb low mountains for fun. 

If you have ever done rock climbing，you will know that it is not a very easy sport. Indoor and outdoor rock climbing both need practice. What most people don't know is that rock climbing is one of the sports that depend on your body and mind（意志）. 

To climb successfully，one must use wonderful skills. One of the important rules is to always have three parts of your body on the rock face. Another important rule is that your arms only hold you close to the rock face while your legs are pushing you up，the closer you are to the rock face，the easier it is to climb. 

Rock climbing is a wonderful sport. Once you start to learn how to climb，you'll find more fun. People who like games such as chess playing or problem—solving may love rock climbing，because they are nearly the same in the way of thinking. For anyone who wants to get into beautiful shape，rock climbing is a fun and good way. Anyone who enjoys a difficult game and loves the outdoors should think of taking rock climbing as a new hobby. 

In life, do you choose to take the road everyone has taken, or do you choose the path that is best for you? It might be 1 to choose what everyone has done, especially if it seemed to be the right fit for them. But is that what truly 2 for you? 

Recently, on a hiking trip, my partner and I decided to take a popular trail (特定路线) in the 3 direction. This was an old, well-traveled trail that people had been hiking and biking from A to Z for years. For our own 4 , we chose to travel from Z to A. Going backwards made more5 with my plan. The trip would take several days and going backwards made it 6 that I would end the trip closer to the airport for my flight home.

Most of the students thought the best performer was Eliza, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} she played the piano the most beautifully and she is an excellent piano player. Who was the {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (funny)? Of course Steve was. You could see that he and his dog sang the song together and everyone couldn't stop laughing. Do you want {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (know) the most creative one? It must be Vera. She {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (play) the guitar upside down. The most popular actors were the math teachers in the show. They had many kinds {#blank#}7{#/blank#} instruments (乐器) and they were the loudest of all. However, there was also{#blank#}8{#/blank#} terrible show. Dennis always kept dropping the balls everywhere.

All in all, I think it is fun to watch this kind of show if you don't take them too {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (serious). And they also give students a good way to show {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (they) talents.
