Love is the most (最) important thing in the world (世界). We need love in. our life and the world also needs love to get better.

When I was a little girl, I thought that my father didn't love me. He let me do everything by myself. I was afraid of darkness (黑暗)，but he let me walk home alone. When I did well in my study, he only said," Be better. "I couldn't understand (明白) him. Where was his love?

But one day, I understood his love. It was a rainy day. School was over. At first I was not happy because I didn't have an umbrella.

But then I saw that my father with a big umbrella walking in the rain. He kept me away from the rain with the umbrella and we ran home together. He was all wet. On that day, I knew my father loved me very much. I understand what love is.

Zac and I were always best friends. We both started playing football from an early age. Zac was bigger than me and it was difficult to score a goal when he was in front of me. I was faster, though. Once I got past him, he couldn't catch me.

There were two under-17 teams. The first team was the Springtown Stars. They played the most important games. The other was the Springtown Asteroids. They were also a good team but not as good as the Stars. Zac and I were proud to be in the Stars!

It was time for the coach to name the team for the season. Zac's name was called out but mine wasn't. I went to check the list on the board. I could hardly believe my eyes! How could the coach make such a mistake? I was as good as Zac. What pain I felt! I lost my place in the Stars. After that, I had to practise with the Asteroids but I didn't enjoy it. I played so well, yet no one understood this. I began to despise (鄙视) Zac and the coach. However, one Saturday, I watched the Stars play against another team. I thought they wouldn't play well without me, but I was wrong. I began to see that they had great teamwork and skills. Zac was especially good. He had worked harder than me and was much better now. Perhaps I was not as good as I had thought. As he left the field, I gave him a big high five, "Zac, you are great! I will be back to the Stars next season."

Most people choose to live in comfort after they retire ( 退休), but Wang Guilan is not one of them.As a marathon (马拉松)lover, the 70-year-old woman from Liaoning, China has completed over 100 marathons in the last 19 years. People call her Super Grannie".

Wang only started running at the age of 51, as a way to keep in shape, but soon realized she loved it. She ran her 1st marathon in 2004 and hasn' t stopped since. From 2005 to 2017 she completed the Beijing Marathon 13 times, and this year she set a new record, becoming the oldest person to ever complete the 168 -kilometer ultramarathon (超长距离马拉松) of Jiang Nan 100-Mile (а famous ultramarathon in China), in about 40.5 hours.

 "This lady is the same age as my grandmother. How can she run so fast? That's amazing," a young runner said after seeing Wang compete in Jiang Nan 100-Mile in April. This was Super Grannie' s 2nd time competing in the race.

So how does a 70-year-old stay in good-enough shape to complete a marathon that most people half her age couldn' t finish? According to Wang, she runs at least 20 kilometers six days a week from Monday to Saturday, and on Sunday she runs some more. She likes running in the mountains, but in winter, when the weather doesn't t permit, she runs on roads. On average ( 平均）, every year she runs for 7 months in the mountains and 5 months on the road.

Wang always believes that age is not a problem , and she plans to continue running marathons and enjoying her life for as long as she can.

A new high-speed railway opened on January 22nd, 2021. The new line which connects Beijing with China's north-eastern provinces not only shortens travel time. but also has high technologies, Besides, it also has an environmentally-friendly design. Importantly, it shows China's strong ability to build the high-tech and green high-speed railway, 

The new line connects Beijing with Shenyang, Changchun and Harbin- the capital cities of China's three north-eastern provinces.▲But now the newline shortens the travel time between Beijing and Harbin to less than 5 hours. People have never stopped realizing the goal of a higher speed. 

A part of the way from Harbin to Shenyang was put into work in 2012. The newline has 46 bridges and 30 tunnels（隧道）, " The building of the station is based on the idea of environmental protection, " the station's designer Wang Qingyi said. Also, an electricity-saving system has been used to save energy, Because of the new design lights will not need to be turned on during the day. Because the hall is bright enough for passengers. 

A new type of train that can work under temperatures as low as -40℃ runs on the line. The new train can stand the coldest weather and provide Braille (盲文). It has become attractive in the world. Many foreigners come to China to experience the new type train. Chinese people use their wisdom and hard work to tell the world that they are going to have a bright future.
