Treasure hunting(寻宝游戏) is not just a story from m{#blank#}1{#/blank#} or books, but can also be part of your next holiday.

Five years ago, US art collector and writer Forrest Fenn h{#blank#}2{#/blank#} a treasure box somewhere in New Mexico, the US. The box was f{#blank#}3{#/blank#} of gold coins, diamonds and other treasure. It's worth about ＄1. 8 m{#blank#}4{#/blank#} (12, 400,000 yuan), and it will go to whoever finds the box. The 84-year-old millionaire(百万富翁)7 l{#blank#}5{#/blank#} some clues(线索) in his book The Thrill of the Chase.

    Fenn said the i{#blank#}6{#/blank#} came to him after he got cancer(癌症) in 1988." When I was in fourth grade, I worked part-time as a paperboy. Mrs.Stanley was one of my customers. She'd watch me coming down her street, and by the time I'd biked up to her doorstep, there'd be a cold drink waiting.

I'd sit and drink while she talked. Mrs. Stanley talked mostly about her dead husband,"Mr.Stanley and I went shopping this morning." she'd say. The first time she said that, cola went up my nose.

I live in the city now, and my newsboy is a lady named Edna with three kids. She asks me how I'm doing. When I don't say "Fine," she sits down and listens to my problems. She's lived in the city most of her life. She knows about the neighborhood. The neighborhood is a state of mind. You find it whenever people ask how you're doing because they care, and not because they're getting paid to do so. Sometimes it's good to Just smile, nod your head and listen.

If you walk in the Peking University (北京大学)，you are likely to meet a boy carrying a big bottle of water and a bag of buns (馒头) in his hand. He is ordinary in his looks and wearing, but uncommon in maths achievement. He is Wei Dongyi, a teacher and a math talent in the Peking University.

He is known by the public for an interview. He was asked to cheer up the high school students who were about to take the Chinese gaokao, and he just said "Welcome to Peking University. I don't know what else to say. "It was later leaned that this shy boy once won gold medals at the International Mathematical Olympiad (国际奥林匹克数学竞赛). Because of this, he was invited to study at Harvard University, but he refused. His reason is also simple: "I don't want to go abroad".

Wei's father is a math professor. This influenced him in some ways. When he was young, he was interested in math while other children loved playing toys. He is a big fan of math.

He was always found reading math books by his classmates.

Although he was so successful, his life can't be simpler! He doesn't like social media (社交媒体) or going to parties. He always takes a bottle of water and refills it with drinking water simply because it is good for the environment.

This genius lives in his own world. He doesn't care about how much he got or outside opinions but he loves his country and math. He is willing to put his whole life into solving math problems.

Dear Aunt Petra,

I'm writing to tell you about the great time we had last weekend. I think mom told you we were going to Manchester on Saturday. Well  , we went to see a football game there, because the team (队) of Manchester United was playing with the team of Liverpool. My father didn't go, because he doesn't like the two teams; he likes Chelsca and Arsenal. I really enjoyed the game but unluckily Liverpool lost the game. The game was 2-0 to Manchester United.

 On Sunday, the weather was not that good, but we still spent the day looking around the city. We got lost because we didn't have a map. It wasn'ta big problem because we asked a policeman for help and he showed us where to go . We visited the Lowry Museum. There are some interesting paintings. And they are from a well- known painter named LS Lowry. There is a picture of one of his paintings in the letter(信) , Hope you like it.
