Traditional Chinese Medicine，also called "TCM"，is an ancient system of traditional medicine.It has developed for thousands of years and is an important part of Chinese culture.Today people in 183 countries and areas are now using TCM.Massage（按摩），Guasha，Qigong，tai chi and acupuncture （针灸） are some common kinds of treatment of TCM.Chinese massage can make you relaxed and fresh.In acupuncture，doctors put long needles（针） into the patients' heads，faces，arms...It takes away pain，though the look is funny.

The earliest medical classic is in China.Huangdi's Classic on Medicine（黄带内经） came out more than 2，000 years ago.The book is about the relationship between man and nature.In Chinese culture，yin and yang are the two parts of nature.Nature .keeps balanced if yin and yang work well together.According to TCM，imbalances（不平衡） in the human body can lead to health problems，many TCM treatments focus on restoring this balance.

To many people's surprise，for some health problems，a doctor of TCM will not give you medicine.Instead，he may give you just a food plan and right ways to eat.For example，TCM thinks it's wrong to eat on the way to school，at our desk，or in front of the TV.But here are correct ways：Sit down to eat.While eating，turn off the TV and get away from the work desk.Eat seasonal foods.Do not miss any of the three meals.

The Yingge Dance, or "dance to the hero's song" is a traditional art form in Chaoshan area. The dance can date back to the Ming Dynasty (1368—1644). At that time, dancers {#blank#}1{#/blank#} it during traditional Chinese festivals. Today, Chaoshan people perform the Yingge Dance to {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the Spring Festival.

Usually, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} number of the performers in the Yingge Dance is either 24 or 36. Each of them {#blank#}4{#/blank#} a role of the "108 Heroes" from Liangshan Mountain, a place in a famous traditional Chinese story. To prepare for a full day of performances, the performers have to practice for at {#blank#}5{#/blank#} six months. They also have to wear heavy clothes during their practice. {#blank#}6{#/blank#} it is hard work, more and more young people are joining the dancing teams because of {#blank#}7{#/blank#} love for this traditional art.

It is said that this dance is the most popular in Chaoshan towns such {#blank#}8{#/blank#} Puning and Chaoyang. However, today, people in other countries like Australia and America are also getting interested in it. The Yingge Dance is not only a symbol of Chaoshan {#blank#}9{#/blank#}, but also a belief (信仰). We Chaoshanese believe it will take away the {#blank#}10{#/blank#} things and bring good luck to all of us in the coming year.

I think that being a doctor is one of the most important1 in the world. Most people are busy working every day. They don't have much2 to relax or do exercise. Lots of them are in3 health because they don't4 themselves. I would like to help them get healthy again.
