Free time is a good chance for teenagers to have fun. What about free time with parents around? Some teenagers want free play without parents' supervision (监管) while parents and experts may think differently. 

Lin Tao, a middle school student, thinks teenagers should be free to play. "Last time I played with my parents around, I was nervous (紧张) and just couldn't enjoy myself to the fullest." Lin says. "And my friend Chen Xiaoxin has similar experiences. Once, he went out to play with his classmates. Everyone felt uncomfortable with his mother's supervision."

Wang Min, a mother of a 14-year-old boy, thinks playtime needs supervision. She explains, "People usually say I like to control my kid, but that's not true. I am just worried that he will get into trouble. Some guys may have a bad influence on him and some games like LARP may mislead him. He might even get indulged in the stories and can't get back to real life."

Mr. Ma, a doctor of social studies, says it's understandable for teenagers to wish for freedom. Free play helps them to be independent. Parents can give them more space. They don't have to supervise them all the time. However, teenagers should find out the exact details (细节) about the activities before playtime. Then they can communicate with their parents and decide together whether they can go out to play alone. 

Jenny has a clothes store. Its name is Jenny's Clothes Store. The store is for young boys and girls. It has clothes in many colours.

Dragon Boat Festival is a fun Chinese holiday. Usually, it's in June or July. Both children and adults like this holiday.

First, there are dragon boat races. Dragon boats are very long. They have bright colours, In each boat, there are many people rowing(划) . There's also somebody beating a drum. The winners of the races can get a lot of money.

During Dragon Boat Festival, people also eat a special kind of food-- rice dumplings. To make these dumplings, people prepare (准备) many things. Then they can make different flavors of dumplings. Some are sweet, some are salty (咸的) . They all taste good. People give them to friends.

On the evening of the holiday, families have a big meal together. Dragon Boat Festival is a great time for everybody.

Many people are interested in talking about life in the future. Some people 1 that life in the future will be easier and more comfortable. But others believe that it will be worse and more difficult than now. As for me， I 2 the idea of the first group. 

First，as for education，people will have 3 education because of technology (科技). E-books will replace (取代) paper books. Robots will replace 4 ， and students will not have to go to school every day. They will 5 at home through online teaching and will find learning more interesting.

①Lake Victoria is the largest lake in Africa and the second largest freshwater lake in the world. Lake Victoria not only is beautiful but also provides a source(源头) of water, food and power for several African countries. However, the lake has been polluted seriously. People there worry about the problem and take action to protect it. James Kateeba is one of them.

②James Kateeba lives in Uganda, a country next to Lake Victoria. His job is to show tourists around Uganda. He found that during the rainy season, there is a lot of plastic waste floating(漂浮) on Lake Victoria. It not only pollutes the environment but also influences the local fishing industry(工业). 

③James Kateeba wanted to do something for Lake Victoria. Mr. Kateeba watched some fishermen building boats. Suddenly, he came up with an idea. He decided to make his own boat. And his boat is not like traditional wooden boats. His boat is made of recycled things, and it became a recycling project later.

④In 2007, James asked fishermen to collect plastic bottles for some money. They tied the bottles to nets(网) to make a special boat that could float on the water. Mr. Kateeba put soil over the bottles and built a garden. Then he added the board. Tourists like his boat for its rich plants, food and drinks. Today, the boat, marketed(营销) as the Floating Island, can comfortably serve 100 visitors at a time.

⑤Mr. Kateeba isn't the only one who wants to clean up. Local environmental workers also offered money to fishermen to collect all the bottles they caught in their nets.

Boys and girls, this winter vacation is the time for you to take your mind off homework and prepare yourself for the future. The following is some advice on how to make your vacation meaningful and colorful. 

Take regular exercise. You've worked hard most of the time. Therefore, you need to join in outdoor activities, which can bring your whole body into action. You can improve your_①_by doing different kinds of exercise such as swimming, jogging and mountain climbing. 

Learn some basic life skills. One day, you will live alone. You can't depend on（依赖）your family any longer. So, you should learn to cook, wash and other practical skills. 

Go for a journey. Travel to places of interest. In this way, you'll understand cultures that are ②    from that of your hometown. Beautiful sights（风景）can also make you relaxed. 

Enjoy family time. Don't always sit in front of a computer. It's great fun for family members to sit around the table, discussing sports, clothes and other common topics.
