We decided to have a trip to the mountain in our town. My mother  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(唤醒) me up early in the morning. We took some water in order not to be  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(渴的). We didn't want to  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(浪费) time, so we set off so early that there were few cars on the road. We could   {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(几乎不) see anybody on the road.

We got there early. The mountain area is about 1,000  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(平方的) kilometres. It has beautiful  {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(风景). There are many rocks in different   {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(形 状)everywhere. Some are like  {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(人),some are like animals and others look like monsters. We walked along the  {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(小路) and got to the top of the mountain. We could see the whole town. Mother  {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(指;指向) to a faraway village and told me where my grandma's house was. We had a great time there.

One day, a little boy asked his father, "What does the word "great' mean? Who are great people and 1 do they become great?"

The father asked his son to bring two plants and then told him to plant one of them2 the house and the other outside the house. The boy did as his father said.

The father asked his son, "Which one of the two plants do you think will be3 ? The boy replied, "The plant inside the house will grow bigger 4 it is safer, while the plant outside the house is not safe at all. No one will be there to 5 the plant. Animals may eat it. "

The father smiled and said, "Let's wait 6 We will know the answer."

Then the boy left for study and after four 7 he came back to his house. He said to his father, "Look, 8 happens to this plant inside the house and it is safe."

When the boy went outside, he was very 9 to see a big tree. The boy couldn't believe his eyes. He couldn't10 how the plant outside was able to grow much bigger than the one inside. "The plant outside the house faced every 11 and many difficulties!" the father told his son why the plant outside was bigger. "The plant inside was safe. It didn't12 weather changes. And it didn't get enough 13 , so it didn't become big."

How to be great? Here's the 14 : To become a great person, one must have 15 many times, faced many difficulties and solved those difficulties. Only after that he is able to become great.

People live on Earth for many years. They live on different continents (陆地) and in different countries. 

    ▲    That is why lots of animals are in danger. Indian tigers and African elephants are among them. People kill (杀害) many of them. But why?

Tigers are often dangerous animals. They can kill people's chickens, sheep and other farm animals and sometimes they can also kill men. So some people kill them for protecting their animals while some kill them just for money. Some people kill elephants for their teeth because they can sell them for lots of money. 

The sad thing is that there are few Indian tigers on Earth now. Many of them are usually old sick animals and they don't kill people but stay away from them in dark forests. Or they try their best to stay away, because people are cutting down the forests. And there is a question: Do those animals get a future?"

We can ask the same question about African elephants. They are wonderful animals. They can help, and make people have fun. In the last century. Africa was full of elephants and now it is only history. 

I was a stay-at-home dad, which gave me plenty of time to cook. Ever since I was a kid, cooking had been one of my 1 . My dad had given me some great advice. "If you're gonna cook," he began, "you might as well make sure it's tasty." So with that2 , I'd set about making each dish as 3 . as I could. I figured that if something looked and4 good then, chances were, it would taste great too. 

One day, I was on the Internet when I noticed my best friend, Dave had 5 a video of him cooking. He was 6 with The Fathering Project, a non-profit organization that helped men be the best dads they could. "We're always looking for content," he said, "Can you7 your videos with us?" I was more than happy to 8 other fathers to get into the kitchen. So I started to 9 videos of my cooking. I also gave viewers plenty of 10 . "The kitchen can be a place to 11 with others," I told them. My son and daughter helped me with washing and cutting, but most importantly, we all shared a 12 with each other, My videos grew so 13 that dads around the country were setting out for my suggestions. It's been an enormous 14 to transform my enthusiasm into something that's helping others. I hope my videos will keep giving dads a taste of the 15 cooking brings to our lives.

I wanted to have an experience working in radio. The p{#blank#}1{#/blank#} of doing this is to make me know more about the job. I got a p{#blank#}2{#/blank#} job at a radio station. My main work was to help the presenters prepare for the shows. I was very careful and avoided{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(make) mistakes. I also read some {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(article) to learn how to talk kindly with listeners. It was a helpful experience.
