Hi! This is my first post (帖子). I'm Mary. I'm fourteen and I live in New York. I have two brothers. Mark is twelve and Stephen is sixteen. My father is a teacher, but not at my school. My mother is from Canada and she works in New York. She's a photographer (摄影师). 

I have a grandfather and grandmother in New York and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins here, too. My mother's family are in Canada—her parents and her brother and sister. So I have family there, too.

Our house isn't big, but I have my own small bedroom. I have photos and posters (海报) in my room and I have a desk for my computer and two chairs, and a bed. Mark and Stephen's bedroom is big with two beds and a TV. They have a bookcase for their books and DVDs. 

We also have a cat called Smokey. She's six months old and she sleeps too much. Well, that's it for today. Please write down your comments (评论) and questions. 

A video of a girl dancing at a pork shop gets popular on the Internet. In the video, her mother is busy cutting up pork while the girl is dancing.

The girl is Wu Gangyun. She lives in Naduo Village of Yanshan County (县) in Yunnan. Wu's father is a train driver and her mother has a pork shop. Wu loves dancing and she dreams to be a dancer. She starts to learn to dance at the age of six. She just teaches herself by watching online videos. Every day after school, Wu goes to her mother's shop practice dancing.

Seeing their daughter's love of dance, Wu's parents want her to go to dance classes. But they can't pay for them. Luckily, Zhang Ping and Guan Yu, two teachers from a dance school, see Wu's video. They have a program (项目)—"Colorful Cloud Program" to help children in villages change (改变) their lives. They think Wu is good at dancing and they want to teach her. Wu learns a lot from the teachers. In 2019, she gave a show on CCTV.

Young people know how important education（教育）is，but not all of them like school. Read these students' ideas. 

Kate，13 I love school. A lot of my friends and I are in the same school. And I enjoy learning new things. I also like my teachers very much. It's true that sometimes we have too much homework. But all in all，I enjoy my school life. 

Roy，14 School is alright. School can be really stressful（压力大的）at times，but I think it can help me find a good job when I leave school and go far in life. I enjoy some lessons，such as math and science. But I don't like history，but I know it helps us learn. All my teachers are helpful. I have many good friends at school. So I can say yes，I enjoy school. 

Meg，13 School is not fun. I have to get up early to go to school. I like to play out with my friends. What do I need history for?Or geography?We don't need to go to school to get an education. We just need to know how to read，and make friends with people who know things. We can get a real education by learning how to do things and how things work. 

A marathon is a long running race of 26.2 miles (42.195 kilometres). The first Olympic Marathon was held in Athens. Now, many cities host their own marathons every year. Some of the best- known marathons around the world are the New York City Marathon, the Boston Marathon and the Tokyo Marathon. Among them, the Boston Marathon which started in 1897, is the oldest yearly marathon in the world. As time goes by, the sport has become more than just a race.

Themes of marathons add fun and meaning to the hard miles. Runners run for helping sick kids, celebrating important events, or just enjoying nature. There is a famous marathon in Gisborne, New Zealand, which is known for being the first city in the world to welcome the sunlight every day. Runners can greet the sunrise as they race along the golden sandy beaches.

Marathon routes bring people more understanding of the old sport. Some routes provide great sporting challenges for runners. The routes offer various surfaces, from bridges to sand to hills. Runners of all skill levels can sweat freely and push their limits in the race. Some routes are well planned for runners to explore the many sides of a city. For example, the route of the Great Wall Marathon takes the runners along the great wonder of the world. The race can be an amazing chance to get to know Beijing, its people and local food.

A marathon is quite a journey for runners to enjoy the run, challenge themselves and experience the culture. There is so much more behind the race for us to explore.

Li Shuyou is eighty years old. He has a big love for music. He is good at folk music(民间音乐). 

Now Mr Li is a music teacher in Jiantouzhou Village, Hunan. He is busy every day. Many students learn how to play the pipa, the erhu, the liugin and the sanxian from him. These students are not of the same age. Some are about 5 years old. Some are about 18 years old. Mr Li's lessons are welcome. Many parents take their children to study there. And they have fun there. Ding Jiewen is one of them. "Mr Li's lessons are not boring. He always tells us some interesting stories. We have a good time there. And I think folk music is useful. I love it very much, " she says. 

Mr Li is happy to be a music teacher there. Some people say to Mr Li, "You are old and you should enjoy(享受)life at home. " But Mr Lt doesn't think so. He loves folk music so much. He wants more students to learn it and live it. And he also wants to help students in Jantouzhou have a good life. 

①Some people think creativity is making something completely new, so they do not think they are creative. But others believe creativity is just showing themselves through everyday acts and they are born creative. The truth is we all have the ability to show creativity.

②Are you someone who loves to read comics (漫画)? Perhaps it is time you create one of your own. Don't worry if you cannot draw very well or feel that you cannot write humorously. Nobody says this is an exam! You only have to please yourself to get the satisfaction. And of course you can share it with your loved ones, or post it on social media.

③Are you someone who likes making videos? Try a vlog, "video blog". In your vlog, you can share your daily life, your travel adventures, your hobbies and skills and many more. The vlog provides you with a platform to create something new every day.

④Are you someone who likes to be alone? Find a small place in your room where you can spend time with yourself. You can pick up a guitar if you like to play instruments, or a few storybooks if you love reading. You may like flowers, candles or pretty things. Decorate your room with them. If you feel bored with them, you can change, add or remove something.

⑤Take every chance to inspire your creativity, no matter how small it is. You might be surprised by what you can create! Start creating and enjoy the wonderful journey.
