Mr and Mrs Brown have two children, Mike and Liz. The whole family are all busy, so they often leave notes(^{便 条} ) for each other. Read these four notes of today and answer the following questions. 

"Robots, drones(无人机) and AI will do around 90% of the housework by 2040, " scientists from King's College said. 

Mischa Dohler and Dr. Ian Pearson wrote a report to predict what homes will look like in 20 years. In it, they said that housework like washing the clothes and doing the dishes would be much easier because of technology progress(进步). If technology kept making progress, they expected that people would spend less than two hours a day in doing housework. 

But most British people still don't believe their predictions. Just 2/5 of the people think that house robots will become a reality(现实) by 2040. 

①Did you hear of China's Tiangong space station? How much do you know about the lives of astronauts working in the space station? Come along and find out!

②For astronauts in space, exercise is important. The environment is very different in space. Doing sports helps astronauts stay healthy. How do they exercise? There is a spin bike (健身车), a treadmill(跑步机), and other fitness equipment(设备) in the space station. The equipment makes it easy for astronauts to work out.

③Astronauts live in a weightless environment, so they can't take showers like we do on the earth. Is there a bathroom in the space station? How do they keep themselves clean? Don't worry! Tiangong has a special bathroom. Astronauts can wipe themselves clean with a wet towel (毛巾).

④What do astronauts eat in the space station? There is bread and porridge for breakfast. There are also traditional Chinese dishes, like Kung Pao Chicken, fried rice and fried noodles with sliced pork. There is a special" fridge" to store the food. It's made of" aerogel(气凝胶)". The food stays cool in it.

⑤What if astronauts miss their families? There is special communication equipment in the space station. Astronauts can have personal" sky- to- earth" calls with their families. Usually, the astronauts wear earphones. It not only helps them talk with each other, but also allows them to talk to the ground from any position(位置) .

⑥What do you think of the lives of the astronauts?

 There are twelve months in a year and my favourite month is June.

 June 1 st is Children's Day. On that day, my mother often buys some beautiful things for me. There are also some interesting activities in June at school. On the 12th, we have a ping-pong game. Ping-pong is my favourite sport. I think it's fun. I like playing it with my friends and watching ping-pong games on TV. On June 21s', we have a school trip. We will go to the West Lake. I think we can have fun there.

 School Day is great, too. We have it on June 26th. On that day, my parents can come to my school, too. My birthday is also in June. I always have a birthday party and invite my friends to my home.

 Have you noticed that people speak differently to babies compared to adults? Caregivers, especially mothers, change their speech when talking to young children. How? Their speech includes higher pitch (音高) and a wider pitch range (范围). They use shorter sentences and repeat words more often. You can think of it as baby talk. Researchers have recently discovered that dolphins also use baby talk with their babies.

The research team recorded sounds of 19 mother dolphins living in the Sarasota Bay area. The sounds of the same female dolphins were compared when they were with and without their babies. Chart 1 shows the sound of a female dolphin without her baby. The researchers found that when dolphins were with their babies, dolphin mothers had a wider range of frequencies (频率) of the sound-the maximum (最高 ) frequencies were higher and the lowest frequencies were lower.

The findings mirror the way that humans change the speech when speaking to babies. Dolphin baby talk may have a similar purpose to human"baby talk" it may help babies learn how to phonate. We humans don't only use baby talk with little babies, but with the children who are still learning to speak. As a result, our children are able to talk. That's exactly what happens to dolphins. The changes in speech don't just happen when dolphin mothers stay with very young babies, but also between mothers and babies that are closer to"toddler (学步的幼儿)" age. Another possible reason for using specific pitch is to catch the children's attention. It's really important for a young dolphin to know"Oh, Mom is talking to me now."

 The research about baby talk in dolphins reminds us how important it is in humans. Whenever we speak with a young child, how we say things could be as important as what we say.
