 {#blank#}3{#/blank#} For example, New York City public schools banned（禁止）students and teachers from using ChatGPT on the district' s networks and devices（设备）.

The measure （措 施 ） comes out of worries that the tool could make it easier for students to cheat on assignments. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} It may have a bad influence on students. "It does not build thinking quality and problem-solving skills, which are necessary for studying and lifelong success, "said Jenna Lyle, the secretary of the New York City Department of Education.

{#blank#}5{#/blank#} Some Canadian universities are making rules on its use, for both students and teachers. Some teachers think that bans on AI software like ChatGPT are not wise. "We have to know that AI is a tool people will use, "John, the biology professor, told the school newspaper of the university. "What we need to do is to change our way of learning, teaching and examinations". That way, we can "have integrity（诚信）while recognizing the use of the tool".

Along with firewood, rice, oil, salt, sauce and vinegar, tea is considered one of the seven necessities for life in China. Now, it has also won global recognition as a shared cultural treasure of mankind.

On Nov. 29, Chinese traditional tea processing skills and their related social practices were added to the UNESCO intangible cultural heritage (非物质文化遗产) list. Since ancient times, Chinese people have been planting, picking, making and drinking tea.

More importantly, China's tea culture has formed Chinese customs. It is Chinese traditional custom that a host should welcome visiting guests with boiled tea. A poem by Song poet Du Lei reads, "I offer tea, not wine, to a guest on a cold night. When water boils on the stove, fire burns with flame bright."

Boiling tea is one of the oldest Chinese tea brewing methods, dating back to the Tang Dynasty (618—907). Tea leaves were boiled for a long time and sometimes they were cooked together with different kinds of herbs and fruits. During this process, people can enjoy a quiet time. Later in the Ming Dynasty (1368—1644), a faster and more convenient method become more popular—steeping (冲泡).

    ▲    . On the app Xiaohongshu, or Little Red Book, there are over 40,000 posts on the topic of "stove-boiled tea" (围炉煮茶). They lightly roast tea leaves before boiling them in a teapot on a stove. People sit around the stove in a natural setting and have snacks with their hot tea. Some also wear traditional hanfu as if it could take them back to those ancient times. Through "stove-boiled tea", people can taste a slower life and find their inner peace. As is written in one Xiaohongshu post, "It is very relaxing to drink hot tea, feel the fall breeze, and chat with best friends."

 What happens if you swallow gum(吞口香糖) by accident? You might have heard that gum stays in your stomach for up to seven years. But is that true? Beth Czerwony, a doctor at Cleveland Clinic, will explain what really happens when a piece of gum makes its way into your stomach.

Is it bad to swallow gum?

 Swallowing one piece of gum every now and then isn't likely to do any harm. But you shouldn't make a habit of swallowing gum, as that can do some damage.

 Gum base is largely synthetic(人工合成的). It's nondigestible which means your body can't break it down like it does other foods." So it just stays in your stomach all the way through," Czerwony explains.

Does gum stay in your stomach for seven years?

 Don't worry: Gum doesn't stay in your stomach for seven years or even seven days.

" If you' ve swallowed a piece of gum, it' ll come out about 40 hours later in your stool(粪便)," Czerwony says." Because it can't be digested, it comes right out whole."

When should you go to your doctor?

 Swallowing one piece of gum probably won't hurt you, but beyond that, be careful. Dr. Czerwony warns that too much at a time can cause an intestinal blockage(肠道阻塞)." Anything you eat after that isn't going to be able to get through, which leads to pain and pressure." she says.

On the night of Aug 11, the Paris Olympics officially closed with an impressive ceremony at France's national stadium (体育场). As the first game started on July 24, around 10,500 athletes from more than 200 countries and regions competed at the biggest sports event in the world.

Paris saw a series of "dream-come-true" moments. China's Olympic team delivered its best performance away from home soil, winning 40 gold, 27 silver and 24 bronze medals. Chinese divers and table tennis players swept all the gold medals in their sports. In swimming, Chinese swimmer Pan Zhanle, 20, broke his own world record to win the men's 100-meter freestyle in 46.40 seconds, leaving his name in history. Zheng Qinwen, 21, won China's first Olympic gold in the tennis singles at the Paris Olympics on Aug 3. After withdrawing (退出) from most of her competitions in Tokyo, US gymnast Simone Biles, 27, made a comeback at the Paris Olympics, winning three gold medals and one silver.

Heartwarming moments

Beyond pushing the limits of athletic achievement, the Olympic athletes who participated in Paris will also be remembered for their excellent sportsmanship. After winning silver in women's singles badminton, China's He Bingjiao, 27, carried a Team Spain Olympic pin with her onto the podium (领奖台), showing respect for her semifinal opponent (对手) Carolina Marin, who withdrew due to a knee injury. This act of sportsmanship touched millions.

The dormitories (宿舍) in the Olympic village will be turned into 2,800 housing units post-Games. By holding the opening ceremony in an open urban space along the Seine, Paris brought athletes, performers and the audience closer together, igniting (点燃) the city of fashion with an amazing carnival.

Take a walk in the park

A long walk in the park is good for your health.  And you may forget your boring things when you are walking.  Sometimes the sun is behind the clouds, and this time is the best for walking.

Spring comes and the birds come along with the warm weather.  Go out and hear the birds singing in the trees and watch them flying in the sky.  This can bring you much relaxing fun. 

Play in the rain

The next time you are indoors or even outdoors on a wet spring day, throw away the umbrella.  ____ rain boots and a rain jacket and play outside in the rain.  It is a happy time for you.
