Kids' birthday parties are more fun than adults (成人的) parties. And there are four things for parents to remember when they want to have a birthday party for their kids.

Make a list(列清单). Each kid wants different kinds of parties. Write down all your child's ideas on a piece of paper and then get things ready according to the list.

Make invitations. Make sure you write down the name of each guest (客人), so you will know the number of the things you have to prepare, such as chairs and plates.

Buy something to eat. You need to decide whether to buy a cake or make one. Decide what kind of food to have. Make sure to get the food ready on time. If you go to a party store, there will be everything you need and you won't have to go to different stores to get everything ready.

Prepare some drink. You should buy some drinks, such as Coke and juice. I think the best drink is a small bottle of cold water if it is hot in summer.

A good relationship plays an important role in life. How can you keep a healthy and strong relationship with your classmates? {#blank#}1{#/blank#}I believe they can help you have a healthy and possibly long-term（长期的）relationship. 

Be honest with them. Do not hide （隐藏） things from them. Besides， don＇t tell lies and don＇t be afraid to tell the truth. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}If there is no trust, there's nothing else. So be honest and they will open up to you gradually（逐渐地）.

Oil paper umbrellas have a history of over 1000 years in China. Yuhang in Hangzhou i s known for making oil paper umbrellas for over 230 years. Umbrellas here take more than 70 steps to make. And it takes at least a week to make one. In 2007, this kind of umbrella was added to Zhejiang Province's Intangible Cultural Heritage List. 

Oil paper umbrellas used to be seen everywhere here. However, as steel-ribbed( 钢 骨的 )umbrellas appeared, the oil paper umbrellas became less used in daily life. Instead, they turned into decorative(装饰性的) artworks. 

To bring the art to life, some umbrella-making masters in Yuhang have improved oil paper umbrellas. As the traditional paper is easy to break, they use a thicker paper. So the umbrellas can be opened and closed 1, 000 times without breaking. And a lighter kind of bamboo is used to make ribs. So, the umbrellas weigh less. This kind of umbrellas has won the hearts of many young people. 

Honolulu is the capital and largest city of the US state of Hawaii, which is located in the Pacific Ocean. It is along the southeast coast of the island of Oahu, and is the westernmost and southernmost major US city. It is a centre of international business, hospitality, and military defense in both the state and Oceania. The city has a mix of various Asian, Western, and Pacific cultures. 

Temperatures change little throughout the months, with average(平均的) high temperatures of 27 — 32℃ and average lows of 18 — 24℃ throughout the year. Honolulu has an average of 278 sunny days and 89. 4 rainy days per year. The average rainfall is about 16 inches per year, which mainly takes place during the winter months of October through early April, with very little rainfall during the summer. However, both seasons experience a similar number of rainy days. Light showers happen in summer, while heavier rainfalls happen during winter. 

As the largest city and airport location in the Hawaiian Islands, Honolulu acts as a natural gateway to the islands' large tourism industry, which brings $10 billion and has the greatest influence on the local economy(经济) every year. Honolulu's location in the Pacific also makes it a large business and trading centre. Other important part of the city's income(收入) includes military defense, research and development, and manufacturing. 

Sunny beaches and a sky-blue sea coast make Honolulu a best place for holiday. Honolulu is not only a place of beautiful sights, but also a wonderful place of shopping. The world's largest open-air shopping centre, Ala Moana Centre with many international products is located here. However, it might take tourists lots of time to get there because of the traffic jam and the lack of subway system in Honolulu. Except for that, it is still worth visiting. 

I started running half marathons(马拉松)a long time ago. A half marathon is 21 kilometers, by the way. I' ve tried a few full marathons, but 42 kilometers is a long way and I prefer the shorter distance(距离). I'm almost 70 now, and I' ve been doing them for over 50 years, but I still get the same excitement at the beginning of each race as I used to.

I don't run as many half-marathons as I did. I used to run around 15 races every year and when I was in my thirties I got quite good at them. I think my personal best was around 1 hour 17 minutes, which was only ten minutes over the world record back then. These days I run about five races a year and my time is quite a bit slower. At my age you need a lot more preparation and your body doesn't recover(恢复) as quickly, but it's well worth all the hard work.

 There are two main reasons why I still run half marathons. Firstly, it means I'm keeping myself fit. My doctor told me that I'm healthier than most people half my age! But I think the real reason I love the sport is the other people you meet. You get to know other athletes(运动员) and I' ve made many good friends over the years. The crowds of people who wait on the sides of the streets clapping and shouting as you run past are amazing. I get more and more support the older I get!

I now spend quite a lot of time visiting schools to get children interested in sport, especially running. I think it's really important to get involved(参加) at an early age. It makes it so much easier to keep doing it the older you get. The kids are always interested and they ask me lots of questions. Many of them can't believe that I'm the same age as their grandfathers. Sometimes I invite them to run a five-kilometer race with me but not many of them can beat me!
