Black Myth is China's first AAA video game. Since it came out on August 20, it has taken the gaming world by storm. It sold 10 million copies within the first three days. This makes it one of the fastest-selling video games.

Beyond that, the game has had a "Black Myth" effect across several industries. Sales of home video game consoles (游戏机) have increased greatly from last year. Other gaming-related goods like laptops, keyboards, mice and headphones have all seen big increases in sales.

Moreover, its success has led to a travel boom in parts of China. Many scenes in the game are from real places. Players want to follow their hero and visit the same places. As a result, several sites have reported increased tourist activity. Some have even seen ticket sales three times higher than before. For example, the Yuhuang Temple in Shanxi Province, has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in China. Large number s of visitors go there to see its famous coloured sculptures (彩塑) from the Jin, Yuan and Ming dynasties.

①Emma is a lively girl. She applied to join the school's dance club as soon as she started high school. She had heard lots of descriptions about high school clubs and had always been curious and longing to join one.

②As the school's 100th anniversary (周年纪念日) drew near, Emma's club needed to perform at the celebration. Emma was both excited and nervous when she knew she had been chosen to be one of the performers. Emma wasn't used to performing in public. However, her teammates' encouragement gave her hope and her confidence improved .

 ③The day finally came. Emma imagined her dance moves over and over again in her mind when she and the team were waiting backstage. Then, they stepped onto the stage (舞台) one by one. With butterflies in her stomach, Emma began to dance. She was afraid to make mistakes. Suddenly, she stumbled (绊脚) and fell. At that very moment, she breathed heavily and her heart was racing like a frightened rabbit. The audience (观众) saw that in surprise, but they soon cheered Emma on.

 ④With her teammates' help, Emma picked herself up and continued to dance with calm. Then the team went all out for the show, and the audience were impressed by them.

 ⑤When it was all over, the audience showered the performers with cheers and praise. Emma's team even won an award! Emma was thankful for the love and support from her teammates and the audience. She realized that bravely facing fears and rising to challenges are necessary qualities to have. Surely, she will remember the experience forever.

The oil paper umbrella is a traditional Chinese handicraft(手工艺品). It has a history of over1, 000 years in China. In early Tang Dynasty, it was introduced to Japan and Korea, so it was called the "Tang Umbrella". Later oil paper umbrellas were spread to other Asian countries, such as Vietnam, Thailand and Laos. 

Yuhang in Hangzhou is famous for making oil paper umbrellas for more than 230 years. They are mainly made of skin paper, bamboo, and a coating of tung oil(桐油). It takes more than 70 steps to make them, including making bamboo ribs, pasting paper and painting patterns. It takes at least a week to make an umbrella. In 2008, these umbrellas were added to Intangible Cultural Heritage List(非物质文化遗产名录)of China

A young man called Liu Weixue learned the traditional art of making Yuhang oil paper umbrellas from his grandfather. He improved the umbrellas to win the heart of young people. As the traditional paper was easy to break, he started to use a different kind of paper. In a test, his umbrellas were opened and closed for 1, 000 times without breaking. He also used a different kind of bamboo to make the umbrellas weigh less. 

Now Liu hopes the art can be passed on, so he goes to local schools to teach students. He also takes part in lots of activities in different places to make the art be known to more people.
