Is it good to be in a middle school? Most American children think so. In America, middle schools often have sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. It is different in different places.

    For children, going to a middle school is a big change. Most middle schools in America have a special day for new middle school students. On that day, they are showed around the school by their new teachers. And they could know a lot about the history of the school. They also would make friends with the old schoolmates (校友).

    They will grow up and learn some different and difficult things in a middle school. A new middle school student will learn foreign languages, computer, music and art, health, and other skills, such as cooking.

    A middle school will have sports teams, clubs and have activities for children. They can choose what they like and join them. If they are good at singing, playing basketball or something else, or if they want to learn, they can join them. Most American children think it's good to be in a middle school.

Exercise one hour a day, keep us happy every day! In my daily life,

I have twin brothers, Tim and Tom. They look the same and a lot of people don't know which is which. They both have brown hair and blue eyes, and they always wear the same jeans and T-shirts. 

They like wearing the same things, and they like doing the same things, too. For example, they both like pop music, soccer and computers. They go to watch soccer matches every weekend. They'd like to play computer games every night, but our mother says they can't, because they have a lot of homework. 

They're twins, but they aren't the same in some ways. For example, Tim works hard at school, but Tom doesn't. 

Our mother is often away from home because she travels a lot in her job, so I have to help my twin brothers at home. But I think it's fun to have twin brothers. 

Scientists have found that plants can make sounds. 

A scientist, Lily Hadany, and her team recorded(录制) tomato plants at different times. It showed that the plants made ultrasonic(超声波) sounds. People could only hear them with the help of a computer. They were noises like clicking(发出咔嗒声) sounds. 

As scientists studied the sounds, they began to find some interesting facts. Plants made different sounds at different time. They seldom clicked when they had enough water, but when they needed water, they clicked more and more. Scientists also found that plants made sounds when they got hurt. When scientists cut off a leaf from the plants, the plants also clicked more. But this kind of clicking wasn't the same as when the plants needed water. 

Some scientists designed a computer AI system to tell the different kinds of clicking sounds. It was able to find the difference between plants that needed water and plants with cuts. It means that one day we may be able to use these sounds to figure out when it is in difficult time, and what problem it is having. That could be very helpful to farmers. 

The team's finding changes our ideas about plants. As Dr Hadany says, "Even in a quiet field, there are sounds made by plants, and those sounds carry information and may help us a lot. "
