ChatGPT, a smart AI chatbot (聊天机器人) tool, has swept the education world recently. So artificial intelligence (AI) leads to a heated discussion. Here we'll explain the advantages and disadvantages of AI to give you a better understanding of this subject.
Avoiding mistakes
Although people have much wisdom, they still make mistakes. However, AI could serve us much better. Once algorithms (算法) are set up, computers will keep doing the same task over and over again without making mistakes.
Saving time
This powerful tool allows you to use your time more effectively (高效地). Type in "A cat wants to go to space" and ask ChatGPT to write a bedtime story. Just one second later, you'll get the character called Max, who tried his best to get over difficulties and flew the rockets to the moon. Creating a story in this way greatly saves time, or you would have to spend several hours making up a good one.
Inviting laziness in humans
There were many inventions that were first introduced to help us, but we ended up depending too much on them. The same is true of AI. It keeps serving you unless it's turned off by you. As computers become smarter, humans would like to turn to them when facing problems instead of making full use of their own abilities.
Resulting in losing jobs
With the increasing influence of AI, finding a job will be much harder. People use ChatGPT to write emails, translate languages, and answer all kinds of questions without the help of others. AI may not take the place of humans, but it can certainly lead to more people losing jobs.
I take time management very seriously. I read on the subject and take online courses to master the latest methods. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} When all my tasks are complete, I feel like a champion.
This year, there are more things to do. So I went in search of something newer, better. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Timeboxing is regraded as the most useful skill. It helps you translate a to-do list into certain time on your calendar. In short, it gives you a plan for what to do and when.
Why organizing time in this way can help me improve our performance? Here are the reasons.
{#blank#}3{#/blank#} We all have to choose every day. With a timeboxed calendar, you don't need to make choices between tasks. This way, it creates more brain space for important work.
It enables us to wisely prioritize(优先处理). {#blank#}4{#/blank#} It is natural to pick tasks which need to be dealt with as soon as possible. A timeboxed calendar can help you decide those tasks wisely.
It avoids the "planning fallacy(谬误)." We may not realize how long the tasks will actually take and think we can get things done quickly. In fact, it usually takes three times longer to finish a task than we think it will. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}
Using a timeboxed calendar is a game changer for me. You can also turn your to-do tasks into achievements with it.
A. Finally, I found timeboxing. B. It saves the time and energy for choice. C. Then we can save lots of time to do other things. D. On a long to-do list, which task should we do first? E. Good time management gives me a sense of real satisfaction. F. Timeboxing helps you get better at predicting how long a task will take. |
A. Again, it doesn't have to be anything really difficult. B. However, I have found a few things that are really helpful. C. You can also make friends with native speakers to learn the language. D. You may think that reading harder texts will help you to improve quickly. E. This allows you to hear the language spoken by native speakers and talk with them. |
I am learning French and German now, and also learnt Italian in the past, so I know how hard learning a language can be. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}
Go to the country
Go to the country whose language you are learning. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} For example,when I started learning Italian, I got the chance to stay in Italy for a few days! And then everywhere I went I was surrounded (包围) by delicious food, interesting Roman buildings. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}
Read, read, read!
Reading is an important skill in language learning. But I'm not just talking about serious things like difficult newspaper articles. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} But I would advise you not to choose difficult things to read, because you are more likely to get bored and give up. Instead, you should choose something fun and interesting.
TV and films
Another thing that really helps me learn a language is watching TV or films in the language. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} You can start with a children's show or something that you have already seen in your native language. That way you will already know what's happening and you can write down useful words and sentences or try to repeat what they say.
