What kind of place do you usually choose to stay for the night during a trip? Expensive hotels that may make you feel like you don't get what you pay for? Or cheap hotels that put you  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}five strangers in the same bedroom? If both  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(choice) sound terrible to you, here's something new: holiday apartments.

In a holiday apartment, you have more space than what  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}hotel room can give you. Everything in the apartment   {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(be) free to use. The living room, the kitchen, the study, and of course the bedrooms are all for 

{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (you) own use. Some apartments even have a  {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(true) lovely garden or a game room. You'll feel at home in the holiday apartment. One of  {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(good) things is, a holiday apartment is not expensive. The price  {#blank#}8{#/blank#}a holiday apartment for two people is often lower than that of a hotel room for two. You only need  {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(pay) a little more for a third or fourth person.  {#blank#}10{#/blank#}you travel with friends or your family, a holiday apartment will be a good choice!

Taiwan is famous for its night markets. It's fun for you to spend time walking through the night markets. It's common to find night markets in most cities and towns in Taiwan. They take place on the same streets every day. During the day, these streets are quiet. At night, there are crowds of people.

Usually people arrive at three or four in the afternoon. By 6:00 p.m., the streets are full of people, including many tourists. Foodies (吃货) can taste different kinds of snacks here. The food is not only delicious but cheap. When you're just a little hungry, you can buy some snacks. When you are really hungry, you can sit down for a meal. Smelly tofu is popular, although it really smells terrible.

Besides the food, there are shops that sell all kinds of things such as clothes, toys, and books.Things sold at night markets are usually cheap. If you think the price is high, you can bargain with the seller. You may get a lower price.

There are also fun games at the night market. In one game, you throw plastic rings around the top of a bottle. In another game, you shot with a toy gun. If you do well in them, you can win a prize. They're such interesting games that even foreign tourists are fond of them.

How to keep healthy

Hello，everyone，my name is Jim. 

Cola is bad for our health. Cola is sweet, because it has sugar in it. Too much sugar can let you get fat. Drinking one bottle of cola each day can make you get fifteen pounds（磅） each year. And because the sugar in cola can make you feel full, you can't eat much healthy      food, such as fruit, vegetables and rice. And cola is bad for your teeth and bones（骨头）. Drink water, please. Water is very important to our body. It keeps us healthy. We get water from drink and food, especially（特别是） from fruit and vegetables. But it's better to drink water. If you don't like plain（清淡的） water, you can put a little 100% fruit juice into it. 

①Jiyou Village in Guizhou Province is famous for its ancient trees and beautiful folk songs. The village is full of Miao culture, and forests cover most of its land. Because of its rich culture, Jiyou Village was included in the List of China's Traditional Villages in August 2013.

②One of the most important events in Jiyou Village is the Bridge Worship Festival (祭桥节). It is celebrated on the second day of the second lunar month. During this festival, the Miao people take an active part in the joyful preparations ,cooking traditional dishes, making wine, and practicing their traditional songs and dances.

③When the festival approaches, the village becomes lively, with villagers dressing up in coloring Miao clothes.Men play the lushing, a traditional musical instrument, while women carry baskets filled with delicious food and wine. The children, dressed in their best clothes, can hardly wait for the fun to begin.

④The highlight of the festival is the bridge worship ceremony(仪式).Villagers come together under the guidance of the elders to honor the bridge and celebrate their heritage(传统).

⑤Man tourists come to experience the traditional festival.During the daytime celebrations, the village square is filled with the happy music of the lushing as villagers and visitors dance together. Tourists take pictures and make videos to remember the special moments.

⑥As night falls, villagers and tourists gather around a bonfire(篝火) in the square. They laugh and chat while sharing stories and delicious food. It's a great time to make new friends and enjoy the warm atmosphere(气氛).

In China, there are four ancient inventions—writing brushes（笔）, ink sticks（墨）, paper（纸） and ink stones（砚）. 

{#blank#}1{#/blank#}Those made of wool（羊毛） are called yanghao and those made of weasels'（黄鼠狼） tail hair are called langhao. 

{#blank#}2{#/blank#}A story goes like this:Two famous skilled men Xi Chao and his son produced a kind of perfect ink stick. As a result, the Emperor Li Yu in the Southern Tang Dynasty agreed to give them the family name "Li". In the Song Dynasty, its producing area was changed into Huizhou, and it was then called the Hui Ink Stick. 

{#blank#}3{#/blank#} In Xuancheng, it's said that Cai Lun's pupil Kong Dan happened to see the ebony（檀木） in the rivers. It was wet with the water and turned white. Then Kong Dan used the bark（树皮） to produce world-famous Xuan paper.
