There's a new art club, which started last week in my neighborhood. There are three kinds of {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(活动): drawing, singing and dancing. I like them all, but I can't take part in all three at the same time. I have more interest in drawing, but I have never had the {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(机会) to learn it. So I made my own decision and {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(表达) my strong wish to learn drawing to my parents. My father said he would {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(支持) me whatever my decision was. However, my mother worried that learning to draw would get in the {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(路) of my study.

Finally my mother said she would agree if I {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(遵守) the rules she made for me. The first rule is that I must finish my homework on time every day. The second rule is that I mustn't {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(说话) back to my teacher. I have to get along well with my teacher. The third rule is that I can't give up. Because learning to draw is not an easy thing. At first, I felt the {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(规矩)were boring. But later I found they were so important. I would follow the rules. I won't {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (后悔) joining the art club, and I will stick to it no matter how {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(疲惫) it is.

Once there lived two brothers. The elder was called Simon and the younger Victor. They 1 each other very much, and always took care of one another. Every day they worked from morning 2 night, getting as inch grain(谷物) as possible from their fields.

 One late autumn evening, after their work in the 3 was done, Simon said to his wife," Victor got married last month. He has many bills(账单) to pay. I think I will put a bag of rice in his barn(谷仓)." Oh, that's a good idea," said his wife." But please don't tell him," said Simon," If he knows I put the rice there, he will 4 take it." So, late that night Simon took a bag of rice to Victor's barn. The next day, while looking at his own barn, he found 5 strange,"I took a bag of rice to Victor's house last night, 6 I still have the same number of bags in my barn. 7 did that happen?"

 Simon decided to take another bag of rice to his brother's barn that night. But the next morning, he found the 8 number of bags in his barn again!" This is very strange," he thought. That night he 9 again. He carried a large bag of rice on his shoulder (肩膀) , and walked down the road to his younger brother's house. In the bright moonlight, he could see another 10 coming down the road. He was carrying something on his 11 , too." Younger Brother!" Simon cried," What are you doing?""I was 12 you, Older Brother," said Victor," Your family is 13 than mine. I thought you needed more rice." The two brothers quickly 14 that they had been taking rice to each other. They 15 what had happened." It is good to have a brother like you," they both said. And they lived happily ever after.

The train started moving. It was packed with people of all ages. Most of them were working men and women and young college boys and girls. Near the window sat an old man with his son, who looked about thirty years old. 

As the train moved, the son was filled with joy because he was very excited at the scenery(景色) outside. He said in a high voice, " See Dad, the green trees and the scenery are very beautiful!" It made the other people feel very strange. Everyone started talking in a low voice about the old man's son. Suddenly, it started raining. Raindrops fell on the travelers through the opened window. 

Seeing the rain, the old man's son said happily, " See Dad, how beautiful the rain is!" Hearing these words, a young lady became angry with the man, as the raindrops were dropping on her new clothes. She couldn't help shouting at the noisy son and his father. 

" Can't you see it is raining? You ! Old man! If your son is not feeling well, get him to a mental hospital (精神病院) quickly and please don't disturb(干扰) us any more!" The old man's face turned slightly red and then in a low voice, he replied, " We are on the way back from hospital. He was blind at birth. Only last week he can see again. The rain and the nature are new to him. Please forgive him. " All the other people became quiet. 

 One morning, Jackie is riding his bike home. He sees his friend, Ms Weasel. Sheís sad. Her bike has a flat tire (爆胎) but she must go to work now.

 Jackie says, "Ms Weasel, you can use my bike first. Tammy will help fix your bike."

"Thank you so much!" Ms Weasel says.

 "Sharing is caring!" Jackie smiles. Then he walks home:

 When Jackie gets home, he finds a big hole (洞) in his trousers. Oh no! He only has one pair of blue trousers!

"Don't worry!" Tammy comes, "I have many trousers. You can wear mine." That makes Jackie happy.

"Sharing is caring." Tammy says happily.

 Jackie then goes into the kitchen to make beef soup for dinner. Tammy comes with some vegetables. "Wow! What delicious beef soup!" she says.

"Let's have it together" Jackie says. "Sharing is caring!"

 Then someone is at the door. It is Ms Weasel"Thank you for your bike today, Jackie. I have a gift for you!"

"Wow! Honey cake! Our favorite!" Tammy says.

"We just made beef soup. Let's have dinner together." Jackie says.

"Thank you!" Ms Weasel sits down, "Sharing is caring!"

 One morning, I was on the underground going to work. A voice came from the speaker(喇叭). It said, "This1 is Shady Grove Park." I heard a little voice repeat(重复) it and then I looked 2 . A young girl said it again, "This stop is…"3 and slowly, and with a little roll of her hand, she said it over and over again. It was like she was 4 a little child.

 Then I understood. She wasn't teaching a child. She was teaching her 5 ! I listened and heard the mother6 someone in English. She said that she was Japanese and that she was learning 7 from her daughter. The mother could talk in English, but she8 had a long way to go. Being Japanese, she said that she found it not easy for her to 9 "th" and" t" clearly. Luckily, her daughter was very patient(耐心的). When she 10 got them right, her daughter smiled and gave her a high 11 .

 At the next stop, the mother said the name of the stop with12 pronunciation, "This stop is the Railroad Station."

 It was a lovely start to 13 day. All day, I thought of that girl and her mother and felt14 . The girl could speak three languages — Japanese, English, and Spanish. And she could speak English as well as native speakers! With a(n)15 , she taught her mum English very patiently all the way. Most special, however, was the mother's willingness(意愿) to learn from her daughter.
