How to Develop a Good Parent and Child Relation

The relation between a parent and a child is the most important in a child's life. It can make a difference to the child's life much. Positive relations can help children grow healthily and successfully. Here are some ways to help you build a good relation.

Get used to their way. If you learn more about their ideas and opinions, you will communicate or play with them in their way. This will help you get close easily. You can communicate with them freely and find the world in their heart through playing games on the floor instead of at the dinner table.

Make good use of family time. You must make family time a regular (有规律的) and special part of your life. Then your children can know you accept and respect them. You can eat meals together most nights of the week. You can also share sports events, movies and other events.

Join in children's school. If you have some free time, volunteer in the children's school. Then you can know more about your children at school. You can also sit near them when they do homework. This will make them better at schoolwork.

Build trust. It's important for you and your children to believe in each other. You can make them know they can trust you. When you plan to do something, you must finish it. You will set a good example for them.

Listen to children. If children are complaining (抱怨) about school, you must listen to them. Then they will know you are important and trust you. You also need to leave your mobile phone and TV and look at children's eyes. Then you can give your opinions and ideas to them in time.

The history of tea begins with Shennong. Legend said that tea was discovered by Shennong in 2, 732 B. C/by accident. At the beginning, tea was used as a medicine to make people stay awake. Tea became a wider drink in people's everyday life in the Tang Dynasty. A lot of tea trees were planted in many places and the tea culture developed fast. The Song Dynasty is another important period for the development of tea. Tea became a symbol of spirituality（精神） and books, poems, and paintings about tea were popular in the whole country. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, people could plant tea trees freely. There were more kinds of tea including green tea, flower tea, oolong tea and black tea. The making process of tea had been improved and it also influenced the drinking styles of tea. 

Over the long history of tea drinking, a special Chinese tea culture formed. When we talk about Chinese tea culture today, we shouldn't miss Lu Yu, "the Sage of Tea" for his achievements in Chinese tea culture. Lu Yu wrote Cha Jing between 760 and 780. The book describes early Tang Dynasty tea culture and explains how to grow and prepare tea. 

Tea culture has come a long way and continues to be a valuable tradition. Tea is always made and offered to a guest or friend in China. Serving tea is more than a matter of politeness, it is a symbol of togetherness and a sharing of something enjoyable.

Today, Shakespeare's plays are still performed in English and many other languages, especially in different{#blank#}10{#/blank#}( university) around the world. His works have been shaping the way stories are told and understood.

After four months of digging, the Ningbo Cultural Heritage Research Institute shared what they found at the Malangxia site (马廊厦遗址) on August 29. The exciting discovery in Yuyao, Zhejiang Province, China, has helped us learn more about how people lived and how society changed over a very long time.

The site is 2,000 m² big, and 102 things were found like ash pits (坑), houses, tombs (坟墓), and roads. They were made in the middle and lower parts of the Changjiang River area. Imagine digging up layers (层) of history like layers of cake! The Malangxia Site has five different layers, and each one is like a different chapter in a book, telling us about a different time period.

The first layer is from the Shang-Zhou dynasties, and we found a special tomb. As we move up to the next layer. Here, we found lots of cool things like houses, pits, tombs, and roads. They are like photos that record the life at that time. The third isn't as full as the others. We only found one tomb. But the fourth layer has a lot of findings, with pits, tombs and holes. These things show us how art styles from the north and south of China mixed together.

Local experts say that the Malangxia Site is the biggest and best-kept archaeological (考古的) site in Yuyao so far. It's like a treasure box full of history that helps us understand how society changed over thousands of years. It's amazing to think that just by digging, we can learn so much about people who lived long ago!

 Like many inventions, language translators(翻译器) were imagined by writers long before they became real. In Hugo Gernsback's 1911 novel A Romance of the Year 2660, characters use a video telephone that can translate from one language to another. A language translator also appears in Murray Leinster's1945 science fiction. In that story, humans and lives from another plane made a translation machine together after making first contact with one another.

 In 1954, the first real language translator was invented by engineers from the IBM company and Georgetown University, which could translate Russian sentences into English. However, the idea of the language translator didn't become truly popular until a special translator appeared in the TV show in the 1970. The translator was powerful, because it could translate any language that it met.

 Today, language translators are so pervasive that it's hard to imagine a time without it, especially for many young working or studying in other countries. Most of them can be reached easily online at no cost to users. With translation apps like Google Translate or iTranslate, users sometimes don't even have to look things up. All they need to do is pointing their phone's camera at some writing, and a translation appears at once. If users want to translate something being said aloud, they just turn on their phone's microphone. All of these save our time and effort.

 Translation apps make foreign travel much easier than before. They are important when it comes to communicating with taxi drivers or hotel managers who don't speak a traveler's native language. But these apps are far from perfect. Sometimes a translation makes mistakes, making the user guess what the translation means. At other times, the user might not know that the translation has failed until he or she shows it to a native speaker.
