Body gives them colors

Animals' body parts，like feathers，hair and skin，have special structure.They reflect（反射） light to make animals colorful.This is called structural color（结构色）.For example，blue butterflies have fancy scales（鳞片） on their wings.This gives them a bright blue color.Structural colors don't fade（褪色）.People use the idea to make special clothes and paints.

Do you know Earth Hour? It's a famous activity all around the world. It's usually on the last Saturday of March. There are many countries taking part in this activity. It is Earth Hour now. People turn off their lights for one hour.
