Want to be a hero? Better take a trip to the Great Wall. As the saying goes: You are not a hero1 you have climbed the Great Wall. As a wonder of architecture (建筑),it 2millions of tourists each year. Also, it is the most visited place for foreign leaders when 3come to China.

    The Great Wall has different sections (段)and each one is very 4 Jinshanling Great Wall in Hebei is 5 section. In spring, it is in the middle of a white apricot blossom (杏花林).6 summer time, green plants circle the wall. In autumn, maple leaves (枫叶) 7 a golden and red scene. And 8puts the great wall in a world of white snow.

    The "wild wall" is great for backpackers. Wild parts of the wall are for the adventurous (敢于冒险的人)9 they are the same as they were originally. Jiankou Great Wall is a famous one. Trees grow up from in between the stones. In some places, you have to climb the stones with both your hands and feet. Be 10when you visit the wild walls. You'd better not go there alone.

One afternoon, I went to pick up my mother from work. I got there a little early, so I stopped my car by a small park and waited for her in the car. 

As I looked outside the car window, I saw a little boy, around two years old, running freely on the grass as his mother watched him from a short distance. The boy had a big smile on his face as if he had just been set free after being indoors for too long. He would then fall to the grass, get up, without even looking back at his mother, run as fast as he could, again, still with a smile on his face, as if nothing had happened. 

At that moment, I thought to myself "Why aren't adults this way? "Most adults, when they fall down, make a deal of it and don't even make a second attempt (尝试). They would be so embarrassed that they would not ty again if someone saw them fall. Or, because they fall, they would find a good excuse for themselves that they are not fit for it. They would end up too afraid to attempt again for fear of failure. 

However, with kids, when they fall down, they don't consider their falling as a failure. Instead, they treat it as a learning experience. They try again and again until they succeed. The answer must be that they have not connected "falling down" with the word "failure". As a result, they are not discouraged in any way. Besides, they probably think to themselves that it is quite okay to fall down and it is not wrong to do so. In other words, they allow themselves to make mistakes, so they remain energeti C. 

I was deeply impressed by the boy's persistence and the manner in which he did. 

I still remember that I went to the beach with my family last summer holiday. We put all our toys and   tools we might use into the car. Then we left for the beach. It was boring to do nothing in the car, so we started to sing songs all the way.

 After a couple of hours, we stopped to have lunch. I ate pizza, potatoes and chicken. They were delicious! Finally, we arrived in Pensacola. My uncle Luis was waiting for us. We all stayed in the same seaside hotel. It was great to have a view of the sea through the hotel windows. Of course we were very tired from our traveling so we rested all day.

 The next day, I was ready to play on the beach. However, I forgot something very important. So I was sunburned at the end of that day. I couldn't move. I lay on the bed and watched television. I felt unhappy even if it was my favorite cartoon. I could hear my brother swimming in the sea outside. I really wanted to join him. Next time I go there, I will be careful and I'm sure I' ll enjoy my holiday on the beach then.

Pan Zhanle is a name all the Chinese know now. This summer he made history at Paris 2024 Olympic Games and brought one of the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (最令人激动的) moments for people all over the world. Also, it was the best gift for his {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (第二十个) birthday.

Pan was born in Wenzhou. A large {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (人口) in this city are swimmers. Pan's grandfather is one of them. Pan liked swimming at an early age and often had swimming matches with {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (同学) in summer holiday. Nobody at that time believed that the small boy will be named "Chinese Flying Fish" one day. In 2018, he went to Zhejiang Provincial swimming team and {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (练习) swimming hard every day. However, he had a big problem at that time—He was not tall enough as a swimmer. "Maybe it is better for you to stop swimming." someone {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (建议). Once again, his grandfather helped him. His coaches helped him a lot in {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (训练). Later, in 2023, he got a gold medal in Asian Games. From then on, Pan learned that swimming as much as {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (可能的) might not be difficult. To understand it will be a long {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (旅程) to become a real swimmer and never give up is the most important thing. Now the 20-year-old man is still working for his dream. "I am {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (相当) pleased to make the world record. But it is certainly not the end."
