Many traditional Chinese festivals remind us of the special foods. As zongzi are to Dragon Boat Festival and mooncakes are to Mid-Autumn Festival, yuanxiao—sweet dumplings made of sticky rice flour—are special to Lantern Festival.

Lantern Festival usually falls on the 15^th of the first lunar month, marking the end of the Spring Festival celebrations. Apart from the round-shaped yuanxiao, another beloved part of the celebration is the lanterns, which come in almost every possible size and shape.

"Guessing lantern riddles(谜语)" is an essential(必不可少的) part of the festival. Lantern owners write riddles on a piece of paper and post them on the lanterns. If visitors have answers to the riddles, they can pull the paper out and go to the lantern owners to check their answers. If they are right, they will get a little gift. The activity emerged(出现) during people's enjoyment of lanterns in the Song Dynasty(960–1279). As riddle guessing was interesting and full of wisdom, it became popular among all social strata(阶层).

Lantern Festival was at its peak in the Tang and Song dynasties. It was a day of great fun at the time. In the evening, people went into the streets with all kinds of lanterns, watching lion or dragon dances, eating yuanxiao and setting off firecrackers.

The festival also provided a chance for unmarried young girls to go out freely in search of their true love, since they weren't normally allowed to do so. The famous poet Ouyang Xiu recorded this romantic tradition with the well-known line:"Atop the willow tree hangs the moon;my date comes in the evening soon."

A zero- waste life is a lifestyle that hardly creates any rubbish. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}So the zero- waste store is about providing a kind of everyday and good- looking zero- waste products to help people start on a zero- waste life journey. 

Zero- waste was first suggested by a French woman called Bea Johnson. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} For example, stop the use of one- off objects; give unwanted things to others and so on. 

Yu Yuan, 27, is attracted by this idea. She and her boyfriend used to buy something unwanted until she saw a video about "zero- waste". {#blank#}3{#/blank#} She had a deep impression. 

{#blank#}4{#/blank#} They tried to follow the six rules. She started making her own toothpaste and taking reusable bags shopping. Step by step, she made small changes. From August to October, she and her boyfriend Joe Harvey both produced only two cans of rubbish. 

Now the couple have opened a small shop in Beijing. People can buy the reused products there. "It is not something that can happen overnight. " said Yu. "I hope more people will change their lifestyle after visiting our shop because zero- waste life is just around us at our fingertips. "{#blank#}5{#/blank#}

Friends are good for everyone. We can talk to them when we are happy. We can ask them for help when we have something hard to do. So all people like to make friends with others.

Before you make friends, you have to meet people. When you are in school, you can meet other students. So you can make friends first with your classmates or schoolmates.

You can also make friends when you do sports and play games. People can become good friends when they are doing the same thing.

Today, the Internet is a very good place to make friends. You can use QQ or WeChat to do so. But do take care not to tell everything to others. Take care when you want to meet your net friend. Don't make friends by giving something good to people.

We made a survey among different age groups on preferred ways of watching TV programs. The following is the analysis (分析)of the survey results. We hope to give suggestions to advertisers based on the findings.

TV viewers of different ages were asked about their primary way of watching TV. The results can be seen in the pie chart, which shows that although live TV is still popular, it is now preferred by just under half of those surveyed. Watching recorded programs (DVR) is the second most popular way (23%), with online streaming (直播) in the third place (17%).

Of the people who choose each of the three main viewing kinds, the graph shows what percentage of these viewing kinds are in each of the seven age groups. To help advertisers look for target(目标)age groups, the report will focus on the data(数据) shown in this graph.

The survey shows that live TV viewers are older in age, so advertising through live TV will be less helpful for products aimed at younger people.

On demand or DVR viewers are more likely to be aged 25-54. This is the best kind for advertisers aiming at a wide age group. But it should be remembered that they are likely to skip advertisements when watching recorded programs. They think it is a waste of time to watch ads.

Online streaming viewers are typically younger in age (under 25). Although they now make up less than a fifth of viewers, the number is likely to rise in the near future.

Generally, it is likely that the data for the three kinds will become almost the same in the near future.
