Many years later, when people recall the 2018 Russia World Cup, they will remember many things. With the tragic ending of the defending champion Germany, Mexico has triumphantly and suddenly lost three goals in the face of Sweden. But people will never forget the back of a lonely person. That is Lionel Messi.

31-year-old Messi took off the green armband of his left arm and suddenly fell out. In the recent match, he and his team lost the game against France. The 19-year-old striker Mbappé relentlessly ripped apart the Argentine defense line and scored twice, which made a great contribution to the victory of France.

On this planet, anyone who knows a little about football knows the name Lionel Messi and his golden years from 2007 to 2017.

In 2007, 19-year-old Messi tied Real Madrid three times with a hat-trick, and began his legendary career.

In the past ten years, Mr. Football, the Golden Globe Award and the Golden Boot Award have been taken over by him.

He led Argentina and Barcelona to make a name for themselves in the world, and has a brilliant record in the Champions League, America's Cup and World Cup.

Eleven years later, Messi stood on the Kazan Stadium. After four World Cups, he knew that this might be the last time he led Argentina to the World Cup.

Since 1986, Argentina has never won a championship again. As a captain, he has a great responsibility, even stating that he would withdraw from the national team if he did not win the championship this year.

    This is a prophecy.

Messi, who eventually failed to save the game, did not receive any interview after standing up on the lawn; leave behind only a legendary image for the world.

A while back I caught a news report on something called -couch surfing‖ and the network of trusting souls who make this phenomenon possible. They offer to put up travelers free of charge and help them on their ways. At first, it sounded unbelievable. I mean, inviting strangers into one's home for one or two nights? Give me a break.

However, I was intrigued. I decided to investigate. The only way to truly learn about this phenomenon was to dive in. So I planned a trip to Finland, a country I've always wanted to explore. I would couch surf at every stop there.

If ever any anxiety existed when stepping into the unknown, it disappeared when my first host met me at the train station. Ari looked like my idea of a typical Finn: tall and blue-eyed. Finns were also supposed to be famously reserved (寡言少语的). Ari was anything but. He was a live wire, giving me an enthusiastic welcome and hiking with me to his apartment, where he showed me the sleeper sofa, served me tea, and engaged me in warm conversations. He also handed me a key to come and go as I pleased.

If this was what couch surfing was all about-trust and friendship-then I had gotten off to a good start. As I boarded my next train to continue my journey, I began to think about this couch-surfing idea. What urged these people to open their homes to strangers? I concluded that there was a desire to lend a hand to like-minded folks who might enrich their own lives.

Seven cities in 14 days. Seven hosts. Seven new friends. If couch surfing taught me anything, it's this: Most people are good and generous. Where will couch surfing take me next? Who knows? But I can't wait to find out.

The term "SMART goals" was coined by in 1954. Since then, SMART goals have become popular with business managers, educators and others because they work. The late management guru Peter F. Drucker developed the concept. Drucker shaped many top managers' career. Management by objectives was one of his primary business theories.

In 2002, Drucker received the highest civilian honor in the U.S.—the Medal of Freedom. He died in 2005 at age 95. Drucker's family decided to look forward instead of backward, and they gathered distinguished business people to form The Drucker Institute.

The institute's website states ""Their work is to transform the archival (档案) treasure into a social enterprise whose purpose is to strengthen society by encouraging effective, responsible and joyful management."

If you have been to a business management class, you may likely have learned how to write goals and objectives in Drucker's way: SMART. If you haven't heard about Drucker, you are in for a treat that will help you achieve what you want and be more successful, whether you are a teacher trying to teach well, an adult learner or a person who seeks to achieve your dreams.

SMART goals are: "s" stands for specific. Make your goal or objective as specific as possible Say exactly what you want to achieve in clear, concise words. "M" stands for measurable. Include a unit of measure in your goal. Be objective rather than subjective. When will your goal be achieved?

How will you know it has been achieved? "A" stands for achievable. Ensure that your goal is feasible in terms of the resources available to you. "R" stands for realistic. Focus on the end results you desire rather than the activities necessary to get there. You want to grow personally, so reach for your goal—but be reasonable or you'll set yourself up for disappointment. "T" stands for time-bound. Give yourself a deadline within a year. Include a timeframe such as a week, month or year, and include a specific date if possible.
