Cindy's teacher was Mrs. Jones. Mrs. Joneswas old. But she didn't walk slow. She walked fast. She didn't have white hair.She had black hair. She wasn't abent woman. Her back was straight. Allthe students liked Mrs. Jones. They especially liked her on Fridays. OnFridays, she brought cookies (饼干). She gave cookies to all the students. The cookies were delicious.All the students liked the cookies.

    Today was Friday. Mrs. Jones gave cookieswith animal pictures to all the students. All the students said,"Thank you. "Then they all ate the cookies. But Cindy didn't eather cookie. Mrs. Jones asked, "Why aren't you eating your cookie, Cindy?" She said, "I'm not eating my cookie because I will take it home. Iwill share it with my sister. "Mrs. Jones said," You're so sweet. Here's a cookie for your sister."

I was living in a house with a long history in Halifax, Nova Scotia five years ago. One day, one of my friends from the West Coast came to visit me. He was 1 for three weeks so he brought a lot of bags and suitcases, and other things like a 2  . I told him that he could sleep on the bed in the front living room.

At first, Jack has a lot of problems when he plays the drums. ____ His teacher teaches him patiently and his classmates often help him. He also spends a lot of time practicing it. He knows practice makes perfect. 

Now, Jack does well in class, and he is good at playing the drums. He knows more about the power of music. Jack thinks the drums open the door of exciting life. 

Without(没有) changes(改变), our lives would be very boring. It would be like listening to the same song on your MP3 player over and over again. 

Some people don't like changes. They want to do the same things and see the same people every day. When something changes, it makes them feel uncomfortable. It is like some children, and they can't go to sleep if all their toys are not in their places. But the change is a big part of life and we all change in small ways every day. The young get stronger and the old get weaker. We meet new friends or get new hobbies. 

You will go through many changes in your lifetime. In America, some people change jobs ten times during their lives. Some change their homes eleven times. They like changing because they think it improves their lives. 

China has seen many changes in recent years and they are living longer. People have more money, more food and they have a better education. Children are growing taller and the children in Shanghai are now the tallest in China. Changes have been good for China and they will be good for you.
