Have you ever wondered why you can speak Chinese well but find it hard to speak English? Maybe you think it's easier than English. You are wrong! Chinese seems easy because you've spoken it since childhood. Now, we can't go back to our childhood to learn English, but we can learn from kids. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

Play to learn. 

Kids learn when they play games. You can't just learn English by reading a textbook or you will lose attention. You can learn English through imaginative play (想象游戏) like a kid. You can imagine that you're ordering a meal in London. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}

Learn in an English-speaking environment. 

Kids learn from people around them. They see, listen, experience and speak. You'll need to create a similar learning environment. For example, you can stay with friends who are learning English, too. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} That's helpful for English learning. As there is usually one central topic, you can hear and learn some words about the topic in the English-speaking environment.

How did your grandparents go to work when they were young? By bike, I'm sure. In the 1960s and 1970s, 1 there were many bikes running on the street , we call China " the kingdom of bicycle ". I think 2 all those bikes, "EaBa" bikes were the most popular ones. But now most bicycles disappear,3 " ErBa " bikes. People4 to use these heavy vehicles, though bikes don't cause pollution. The cars and the shared -bikes are on the stage of Chinese people's life. They are more5 and faster. 

To our surprise ,"ErBa " bikes become very popular in the countryside of South China. People living there grow bananas but they have6 carrying bananas down the hills. People don't have so much money to buy trucks (卡车), and the roads are in bad7 . Then they find " ErBa " bikes have a lot of8 , for example, the bikes don' t need energy, these bikes can carry about 150 kg bananas and it's easy to ride on their rough(不平整的) roads. Their prices are9 .This kind of bike costs only a little money. With " ErBa " bikes, people can feed their families. But it's dangerous for young people to rush down the hills on their bikes. Why don't they 10 to keep safe ? Wearing helmets, I think, is also necessary.

I'm Linda. In my home, there's a black and white thing. We call it Xiaodu. When you say " Xiaodu, Xiaodu", it says to you,"I'm here!" When you say" Good morning!" it says," Good morning!" to you.

 In the morning, it is my clock. When it's 7:00, it tells me the time.

 For my mom, Xiaodu is a library. It reads books to her every day.

 My brother is 3 years old. He often asks Xiaodu for help," What's a telephone?"" What's a tape player?"… For him, Xiaodu is a dictionary.

 Xiaodu is our good friend. We love it. Oh, where is it? It's on the TV set now.

Don't be too surprised if you see a car going down the road without a driver in Beijing these days. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Last month. Baidu began to test its self﹣driving cars on open roads in Beijing. 

{#blank#}2{#/blank#} Since then, companies like Tesla. Uber and Baidu have been working to produce and test their own self﹣driving cars. 

Self﹣driving cars are safer than regular cars. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} They can remove the stress of driving and allow disabled or blind people to get around more easily. 

{#blank#}4{#/blank#} In one test. researchers pointed a laser pointer（激光棒） at the car's sensors（传感器） while it was moving. The car mistakenly thought that the laser beam was in its way and slowed down or changed the direction. 

The software that is used to direct the cars may not be safe enough. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} When we use our computers or smart phones. they sometimes crash（崩溃） without any reason. But if this happened to a self﹣driving car. the results could be deadly. Improvements to the software could be a solution to this problem.
