Jessica Green is a middle school student. She is a great 1  lover. She keeps a little 2  at home, and its name is Max. She likes the dog and often 3  with it in the park 

This morning, Jessica is really happy because she is going to a zoo with Max by 4 . She likes having 5  to different zoos and taking photos of different animals 

"Come on, Max! We can 6 new friends today!" Max comes to Jessica, running here and there. They 7 the bus quickly and go to the zoo. All kinds of animals are in the zoo, such as giraffes and elephants. Jessica likes pandas best (最), 8 they go to see them 9 are the pandas doing? Some pandas are sleeping, some are 10 bamboo, and some are even waving (挥手) their hands. Jessica and Max stay there for 3 hours and have a good time. What a nice day!

A woman in New York had two sons. She was very 1 about them, especially the younger one, Ben, because he was not doing well in school. Other boys in class often 2 jokes on him because he seemed so slow. The mother decided to help her sons 3 herself. She told them to go to the 4 to read books and reports for her twice a month. One day, in Ben's class, the teacher held up a rock and asked 5 someone knew it. Ben put up his hand and the teacher 6 him answer it. All the classmates whispered (耳语). "What could he say? He 7 said anything in class." To their surprise, Ben not only knew all about the rock, but also had a lot to say about it. He even knew where the teacher 8 it. Ben learned it by 9 his reports. Later Ben became the top student of his class. 10 he finished high school, he went to Harvard University. And he became one of the best doctors in the United States.

When Mary was just seven, her family moved to a new city. She went to school by school bus. One morning there was something wrong with the clock. When she got up, it was too late to take the school bus. Her mother said she could go to school in her car. 

"But how can you find the way, Mum?" Mary asked, "You went to our school only once. " "Yes, " her mother answered, "but you take the school bus there every day and you know the way. " "Oh, yes, " said Mary. 

They started out and the car went around most of the city before getting there. When they arrived, her mother found that the school was not really far from their house. 

"Why did you make us go so long a way?" her mother asked her. "Well, Mum, " answered Mary, "I know only this way. The bus always goes like this, so the other children can take it to school. "

 Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining

When I was eight, I got a book about stars. That was the beginning of my lifetime hobby. 

I used to go outside with my mum at night and look at the sky. After stars {#blank#}1{#/blank#}, the sky looked like black velvet(天鹅绒) with millions of diamonds(钻石). How beautiful and {#blank#}2{#/blank#}! I shared the {#blank#}3{#/blank#} of seeing stars with my mother. 

Studying stars is great fun for me. Once I learn a little about stars, I soon want {#blank#}4{#/blank#} more. I never {#blank#}5{#/blank#} lonely on my way because stars are always there. Now it is my career. 

Actually, everyone can turn their hobby into their career, too. Anybody has a chance to achieve their dreams. You just need to enjoy what you do!
