Today, we have another set of comics created by Cheyan Lefebvre. The artist began sharing her comic series,"Tall N Curly"on her blog back in 2012. Since then, the artist has made a number of works about topics that many girls like, especially those who are very young. Cheyan gets an inspiration to her own life, because she is a tall girl and she has curly hair. Some of these topics touch upon relationships, health, and school life, while others add a little of dark humor.

I owe (亏欠) my father a huge thank-you ! Sure, I need to thank him for all those years of paying my bills, fixing my bikes, and providing a shoulder to cry on.  But this year I realized that his contributions (贡献) to my childhood were much more than that. 

I grew up as Daddy's Little Girl.  If I had a problem that needed fixing or a question that needed answering, he was the one I ran to.  He helped me get through everything from math homework as a student to career ( 职业) choices as a young adult.   He always expected that I do my best in whatever I did, and he believed I could succeed in anything I put my mind to.  As a result, I learned to hold myself to those same standards.  He always showed me unconditional love, which helped me learn to love myself.  It was something I'd taken for granted until I realized from talking with my friends that they had no similar view of their self-worth.  Having fathers that didn't believe in them left them to grow up not believing in themselves. 

As I was growing up, my father also showed to me how a woman should be lavished.  He got along with my mom with love and respect.  As a result, I grew to expect nothing less than that from the men I dated and from the man I would finally marry.  Dad was a living picture of godliness ( 虔诚), honesty and responsibility.  It was only recently that I realized what a deep influence fathers have on their daughters' lives.  That is why I want to thank my dad for the example of love that he has been to me throughout my life. 

Here are some ways to improve one's leadership at work.

Learn from leaders that you admire. You can get encouragement from any leader that has left a great impression on you with the leadership. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}Choose the good qualities that you want to study, such as keeping their word, trusting others and courage.

{#blank#}2{#/blank#}As a leader, it is important to teach others what you know to help them grow in their jobs. If you spend time teaching others, you can enable them to have valuable skills and knowledge.

Build good teams. Many people want to work in or be part of a successful team. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}When you build it, you have to know the advantages and disadvantages of members, and other things.

Be a good listener. Good listening skills are important to a leader. With so much information distracting(分散）our attention today,it is easy to ignore (忽略) listening skills. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} Listening carefully can help people feel understood, appreciated and respected.

Praise others truly. Sometimes leaders forget the power and importance of praising team members，yet this simple behavior is encouraging. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}

 Hangzhou Bay Wetland Park is one of the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} we tland parks. It lies in the south bank of Hangzhou Bay. If you love quiet places, you can go there to have an {#blank#}2{#/blank#} holiday.

 Last Nauonal Day, my family {#blank#}3{#/blank#} to drive there. It took us about forty {#blank#}4{#/blank#} to get there. The lakes and trees gave us a big surprise. The air was so clean that we all felt comfortable. It is {#blank#}5{#/blank#} a great place for holiday.
