The Big Parade

On October 1st in 2019，to celebrate the 70th birthday of the People's Republic of China（中华人民共和国），there was a big parade on Tian'anmen Square.100，000 people and 70 floats（巡游花车） joined the parade.There were workers，farmers，teachers，students，and the Chinese women's volleyball players.I was one of them.As a Young Pioneer（少先队员），I stood on a colourful float with many other primary school students.We waved flowers.We sang and danced.We all wished our motherland a happy birthday and a glorious future（光明的未来）.That was the most exciting day in my life.I will never forget it.I am so proud of my motherland!

Today is Children's Day. The weather is good. There is a flea market (跳蚤市场) in our school this afternoon. It's on the playground.

Oh! It's 1:30. Let's go and have a look. Wow! Books, toys, clothes and so on. They're all nice and cheap. These storybooks are from Amy. They're all three yuan. Those toys are from Zhang Peng. The toy monkey is four yuan and the teddy bear is five yuan. Look at that pretty hat. It's Chen Jie's. It's only two yuan.

We {#blank#}1{#/blank#} plants in our lives. And we {#blank#}2{#/blank#} help plants grow. This is my beautiful {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.Look!Flowers, grass and {#blank#}4{#/blank#} trees. They need {#blank#}5{#/blank#}, water and sun. l can {#blank#}6{#/blank#} them. I can help them grow.

It's important(重要的) for us to be healthy(健康的). But how can we be healthy?

Do you like sports? A lot of people like sports around the world. It can help people keep healthy and be happy. We can play different games in different seasons(季节). In spring, we can ride a bike and fly kites in the park. In summer, we can go swimming. In autumn, people can go hiking(远足). In winter, people can go skiing(滑雪) and go skating.

 It's Saturday. It's a fine day. We are in the playground. We are playing basketball. Oh, it's five o' clock. Dongdong is hungry and thirsty(口渴). Lanlan is tired and sleepy(瞌睡的). Sam is hungry and tired. Where is Amy? She is over there. She is thirsty. I give her a book and some juice.
