    I was in the college when my father passed away. One evening, a man visited me and after a while, he asked of my studies. I told him I could not go to college so I did not want to study anymore. He reminded how my father had sent me to the best college in our city. Did I want to fulfill his father's dream or did I want to be calling a failure? I wept and said I do want to do my best and I just couldn't concentrate. He gave me all the encouragements I needed to be able to carry on. His calming, gently voice did wonders and I decided to study harder and complete my graduation early.

    We all make mistakes and they are unavoidable in life. But attitudes towards them may have a big difference. I still remember that my spoken English improved. In beginning, I always kept silent in the oral class to prevent myself from make mistakes. Before long my teacher knew about his situation. He encouraged me to speak out what I wanted to say regardless of mistakes. Whenever I have made mistakes and felt discouraged, my teacher and classmate would help me figure up how I could avoid them in the future. With time going by, I gradually made progress and now I can talk fluent in English. However, we just need to learn a lesson from the mistakes in order to improve our English.

    Jeremy has a large circle of friends and is very popular at parities. Everybody admire him for his great sense of humor. Recently, one of Jememy's closest friend asked him to make a speech at a wedding reception. This is the sort of thing that Jeremy loves. He prepared the speech careful and went to the wedding with his daughter, Jenny. He included a large number of funny stories in the speech and of course, it was great success.
