Chinese writer Mo Yan won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2012.Mo,who was born in 1955 into a farmer's family in Gaomi County in Shandong Province, is the first Chinese national to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. In his early years, life was not easy and he experienced hunger. These things have influenced Mo Yan's later writings.

60-year-old Park Geunhye(朴槿惠)was elected the new President of South Korean in December, 2012.     In the Kingdom of Arendelle, Princess Elsa has the power of freezing and creating ice and snow, and her younger sister Anna loves to play with her.     Anna, the sister of the queen Elsa, sets off on a dangerous and mysterious journey to bring back Elsa, who has run away because of causing an endless winter upon her home town. Anna teams up with the peasant Kristoff and his reindeer Sven and with the snowman Olaf to seek out Eisa. Anna must get through challenges and meet new friends, such as Olaf, a lovely talking snowman, and face her charming boyfriend to save the kingdom 'not only from Hans, but from forever winter. They find Elsa in her icy castle and she accidentally hits Anna in the heart; now only true love can save her sister from death.

The temperature has dropped to 30 degrees below zero. But that doesn't stop the fishermen of Songyuan City in Jilin Province. Each morning, they get up early and rush to Chagan Lake with a group of horses. The fishermen use the horses to help pull fishing nets out of the frozen (结冰的) lake.

For centuries, those living around Chagan Lake have kept alive the tradition of ice fishing. They dig holes through the thick ice and use a huge net to catch winter fish in the freezing water. This special method has been listed as an intangible cultural heritage (非物质文化遗产).

Every year in December, there is a winter fishing festival, which marks the beginning of the winter fishing season. Over 20 activities are held during the festival, such as winter sports competitions, nature watching, and the selling of the first-caught fish.

None of the tourists at this year's festival would ever imagine that Chagan Lake used to be only tens of square kilometers in size. In the past, there was little rainfall and the lake grew smaller over time. Also, overfishing is one of the main reasons.

To bring Chagan Lake's beauty back, the government used a lot of different methods. They brought in water from the Songhua River, grew more plants, and kept the water clean. The lake now covers about 500 square kilometers, and fish numbers have returned to a normal level. Now, an increasing number of tourists flock to the lake each year to experience the ancient ice-fishing tradition.

The special event of ice fishing at Chagan Lake is sure to continue into the future. It's a hit with tourists, and the locals say that the life of Chagan Lake will only get better and better.

My Trip to Tiangong Space Station

I have dreamt of travelling to space for many years.  Now I've got a chance to make my dream come true. 

Vacation is coming to an end. How many of you have burn    the    midnight    oil to finish your homework over the last few days? What about during the school year- when you get home from school, do you start working on your homework right away?

It can be hard to be this responsible. A lot of people usually put off difficult or annoying tasks until they have to be done. They' re called procrastinators.

Procrastination is a common problem for many people. In fact, sometimes it just feels easier to wait until the last minute to do certain things. However, this is not a good thing, as you have to work hard er and faster if you wait until there is little time left. This means your work will probably be of less quality (质量).

I myself am a bit of a procrastinator. But most of the time, I try to finish my work earlier rather than later. It just makes more sense - if I finish my work now, I'll have more time to relax or work on other projects later. It can be hard to motivate (激励) myself to get started sometimes. But once I do, the work gets done quickly and with little stress.

Everyone procrastinates from time to time. It's a natural thing to do. You don't have to beat yourself up over it - after all, we still need time to relax and take a break from our busy lives. Just make sure you still get your homework done on time!
