Mr Brown and his son, John Brown like fish very much. Last Sunday morning, it was a fine day. The sun was {#blank#}1{#/blank#} . Mr Brown and John went{#blank#}2{#/blank#} . Mrs Brown {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  them and said it was going to rain. She wanted them {#blank#}4{#/blank#} their rain coats with them. But they{#blank#}5{#/blank#} to her. When they got to the river, it was getting {#blank#}6{#/blank#} . Soon it began to rain {#blank#}7{#/blank#} . So they{#blank#}8{#/blank#} to go home{#blank#}9{#/blank#} fishing. When they hurried home,{#blank#}10{#/blank#}  of them caught bad colds.

    My husband and I redecorated (重新装修) our living room one summer day. And we {#blank#}1{#/blank#} to do it ourselves. It was a big mistake. We just thought it would be easier and cheaper, but there were many problems, and the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} and most important one was the cost. In fact, we just {#blank#}3{#/blank#} a lot more!

    We had lots of ideas for the room. Some planes fly over our house every day, {#blank#}4{#/blank#} we wanted to have some special soundproof (隔音的) windows. We don't have a lot of {#blank#}5{#/blank#}， but we have lots of books, so we decided to put a bookshelf in the living room. Anyway, we worked all day and I was getting really {#blank#}6{#/blank#}. So I went to the cafe {#blank#}7{#/blank#} my home and had a cup of coffee there.

    I came back about an hour later. I was about to open the door when I {#blank#}8{#/blank#} a loud cry from the inside. I opened the door quickly and found my husband on the floor. I knew it was terrible but I just couldn't stop laughing! {#blank#}9{#/blank#}, he wasn't hurt. Anyway, a lot of other {#blank#}10{#/blank#} went wrong, but we've finally finished. I'm so glad we did it together.

    It was a cold morning. There {#blank#}1{#/blank#} few people in the street. A young man {#blank#}2{#/blank#} on Henry's taxi while he was reading a newspaper. "{#blank#}3{#/blank#} the station, hurry up!" the young man shouted! Harry tried his best, but he couldn't {#blank#}4{#/blank#} fast in the busy street. "Be {#blank#}5{#/blank#}, or I will miss the train!" "I'm sorry, I can't. I don't want {#blank#}6{#/blank#} here!" Harry turned back and saw the man's face. "Oh, dear!" Harry said to himself. "He killed(杀死) a woman {#blank#}7{#/blank#} he robbed(抢劫)her. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} picture is in the newspaper." He had an idea. He went on driving when the {#blank#}9{#/blank#} were red. A policeman stopped him, {#blank#}10{#/blank#}, of course, he easily caught the young man.
