    It's sunny today，We have a farewell party(毕业晚会)in the classroom. There are colourful balloons and flowers in it. On the desks，you can see apples，cakes and juice.

    We all wear our beautiful clothes. Miss White wears a pink dress. She looks nice. John wears a white T-shirt and blue shorts. He is so cool.

    Zhang Peng is my good friend. In the party，I give him a book. It's about insects. He gives me a teacup dog(茶杯犬). It's very tiny. It has a small head and a small body. It's smaller than a cup. I like it very much.

    We talk a lot. We eat a lot. We play games and sing songs. The party is great! The party is fun! We are so happy!

    Hello, I'm Su Yang. I'm twelve. I have a good friend. Her name is Alice. She speaks(说)English and she can't speak Chinese. From Monday to Friday, we have Chinese, Maths and English. Alice likes Chinese and I like English. On Monday, Tuesday and Friday, we have PE and Art. On Wednesday and Thursday, we have Science and Music. Alice likes PE very much. She can play basketball very well. But I don't. I like Music. I can play the piano(钢琴). On Saturday, we often go to the library together. On Sunday, Alice has a Chinese lesson. And I have a Piano lesson, too.

    It was in autumn. A young man went into a forest. He walked along a river. Suddenly he saw two green eyes looking at him from the trees. A tiger was getting ready to jump onto him. What did he do? He jumped into the river. In the river there was a big crocodile(鳄鱼). Its mouth was so big. The young man closed his eyes. The tiger jumped over him. And the young man opened his eyes. The tiger was in the mouth of the crocodile at that time.

    Our classroom is bright and clean. But it is not big. There are twenty-three desks and chairs in it. They are new. There's a big desk in front of the classroom. It's for our teachers. There are five pictures on the right wall. There's a map of the world and a map of China on the left wall.

    Near the window there's a bookshelf. There are many books on it. Our class-room is very nice. We have lessons here. We like our classroom.

The cat is calling you

    Mrs. Brown has a young cat, and it is the cat's first winter. One evening the cat is outside when it is snowing heavily. Mrs. Brown looks for(寻找) it everywhere and shouts the cat's name. But she can't find it. So she telephones the police and says, "I lost(丢失）a small black cat. Does anybody find one?" "No. But cats are strong animals. They can live in the snow for days."

    She feels very happy when she hears this, "And my cat is very clever. She almost talks. "

    "Why don't you put your telephone down? Perhaps your cat is trying to telephone you now," says the policeman.

    Jimmy is twelve. He is an American. He lives in Honolulu, Hawaii. His parents came to Hawaii from China fourteen years ago. Jimmy was born in Hawaii. He gets up at half past seven. School starts at nine. He goes to school by bus. In the afternoon he always plays soccer. He is in the boy's team at his school. Jimmy dreams of playing in the American national team one day. His most precious thing is a football with the signature of a famous American player.
