    Chinese is the world's most widely spoken language. There are much different types of Chinese. For example, one type known as Mandarin, bad almost a billion speakers. Outside of China, Chinese in some form is spoken Chinese communities worldwide. The different kinds of Chinese language use a same script. While someone from the north of China may need the speech of someone from the south interpreted, but it is not usually necessary to have written documents translating. In the early twenty century, a government language policy created Modern Standard Chinese, that is now the official language of China. It is one of the official language of the United Nations to develop more effectively communication.

    Last week I noticed Jack coughing on our math class. See this, I offered to take him to a clinic. There the doctor asked Jack how he had coughed sometimes for long time. Jack nodded his head immediate. The doctor then wrote a prescription with instruction on how to take the Chinese medicine. When Jack tasted the medicine, he almost brings it up. I comforted him with an old saying “Good medicine for health tastes bitter to the mouth”. Jack managed to swallow them unwillingly. But when he had recovered three days later, he felt amazing at the effect of the Chinese medicine.

    Most people in the United States don't learn to speak the second language. High schools teach languages. And very few students learn to speak good. Why don't Americans speak other languages? The United States are a very large country. Americans can travel a long distance and not leave the United States. They do not need learn a second language. And many people in other part of the world spoke English. If Americans travel to other countries, they can speak English in here, too. But some Americans think that is a mistake to speak English only. They believe it is very importantly to learn a second language.

    In my school, we have our own talent show every year, that has been a tradition for 15 years. This year, our school was held one as scheduled. A great many students took active part in it. I decided to play the violin with a partner naming Julia, who played the piano along for me. We had practiced many time before the talent show started.

    Everyone watched the show excited. Julia and I did a good job. Others students sang and danced happily. The talent show helped us relax but enriched our school life. We all enjoyed them very much.
