    Guilin is in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, famous of its mountains and waters. I went here last summer and stayed for five day. During that time not only I enjoy the fascinating scenery like the unique mountains and clean rivers, but also I try the traditional weaving of Zhuang people. That impressed me most was the amazing folk-song-singing competition on the Li River, which attracted thousands of visitors or locals.     Visiting friends is one of the most common thing in our daily life. Usually, it is politely to call a friend before your visit, so close friends often drop in on each other without calling. Some people enjoy surprise visits from friends, but many people did not. In the USA, those people don't like surprise visits may tell his friends to call before they come. This is acceptable because the most people are very busy. Drop in at a busy time can cause problems for the person visiting and the person visited. It's a good idea to ask a friend if he or she mind your dropping in without calling. What you aren't sure whether your friends welcome surprise visits, you'd better call first.

    Last Friday, I rode on my bike home. At a crossing, I accidentally knock an old man off his bike. I hurried over and found his leg was injured. Nervous and worrying, I called my mom and told her that had happened. We took the old man to the hospital at once. The doctor gave him careful examination. To our delight, there was nothing serious wrong with him.

    Then, we went back to where the bike was parked. For our disappointment, the bike didn't work. I immediately got it fixed. The old man got on my bike and we waved goodbye to each other.

    The accidents made me realize that we should be careful to avoid get into accidents, but once they occur, we should take responsibility.
