    Attraction: In the GWR Museum you can enter the different exhibition halls (展览厅). In each of these halls you can see many different kinds of world records. In some halls you are even given a chance to do something so that you can know better about how a record was set. If you feel tired, just come into the Rest Area, where you can not only have a cup of coffee but also have some delicious snacks. But please remember, never take your food or drinks into the exhibition halls.

Trip 1 One Week in The mountains

Bring your strong shoes and warm clothes for this walk in a beautiful area of the Green Mountains. 

You may go hiking or have a try of rock climbing. This is also a protection area for wild animals. You can find many kinds of animals living in this area.

Trip2 Three Days in the country

There are many beautiful gardens. Take your camera and enjoy the wonderful sight in Hunter Valley. It is a good place for fishing and horse riding. You can also find different kinds of flowers here. This is also a great walk for bird—lovers.

Trip 4 Five Days By The Sea

Wear your sun hat and enjoy wonderful sunshine all the time from morning to evening. Our hotel is next to the sea. We have our own boats too. You can swim in the sea or in the swimming pool. Every day our boat will take you to different places for swimming.

What does a Senior Tree Officer do? 

I am responsible for taking care of over 3, 000 trees across 36 places. I also make sure the trees are healthy and strong. 

Have you always loved trees and the outdoors? 

My dad has always had a love of nature. He loves watching birds, so from a young age I had a very outdoorsy childhood. 

Do you ever feel scared of heights? 

Tree climbing and outdoor activities were always a part of my childhood, but as you grow up, you lose that fearlessness (无畏). There are some moments when you get to the top of a tree and you're questioning a lot of things, but you have to calm down and don't overthink things. 

What do you like about trees? 

Their beauty. Every tree can tell a story. 

Do you have a favourite tree fact? 

How shallow (浅的) tree roots are! A lot of people think they go down deep, but they're actually shallow, only in the top metre of earth and wide spreading (延展). 

What is your favourite type of tree? 

One of my favourites is a paperbark maple. I've got one in my garden that I planted a few years ago. It's got this lovely rich dark brown bark. 

How would you describe Go Ape in three words? 

Adventure, fun and trees. 

What do you want to say to our readers?

Here comes your chancel Our club Youth Explore has prepared a three- day summer program for you! You can take part in many hands- on activities and meet with different animals— giraffes, pandas, tigers, and so on!

More information about the program is as follows:

Age: Students aged 8~16

Groups:There are 2 programs for you to choose from. There are at most 15 students in each program.

Program cost:$230 for members;$250 for non- members

How to do: Simply come to our center to get an application form(申请表). Send your form on or before 1lth July ( Friday).

Notes:

1. No free lunches because of people's likes and dislikes. You may either bring a lunchbox or pay for lunch at our restaurants.

2. Both programs will be on the next day if there is a warning of rainstorms. Come and join us now! Don't miss the chance!

This is the third year of our cooking camp. It's a great way to start

• You must wear a chef's hat.
