    It's 5: 10 in the afternoon. A policeman(警察)stands near No. 2 Middle School. He talks(谈话)with some students.

    "No, it isn't, "says Eric.

    "It looks like(看起来像)John's, "says Mike.

    "No, it is not his schoolbag, "says Tom." His schoolbag is red, but it's green. "

    "It isn't his, "says Harry." His schoolbag is ③      , but it's small."

    "Where is your schoolbag, Jim?" asks Mike.

Hi! This is my first post (帖子). I'm Mary. I'm fourteen and I live in New York. I have two brothers. Mark is twelve and Stephen is sixteen. My father is a teacher, but not at my school. My mother is from Canada and she works in New York. She's a photographer (摄影师). 

I have a grandfather and grandmother in New York and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins here, too. My mother's family are in Canada—her parents and her brother and sister. So I have family there, too.

Our house isn't big, but I have my own small bedroom. I have photos and posters (海报) in my room and I have a desk for my computer and two chairs, and a bed. Mark and Stephen's bedroom is big with two beds and a TV. They have a bookcase for their books and DVDs. 

We also have a cat called Smokey. She's six months old and she sleeps too much. Well, that's it for today. Please write down your comments (评论) and questions.

See a doctor. If your sadness starts to interfere(扰乱) your {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(每天的) life seriously, you should ask your doctor for help. What's more, it {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(决定于) on yourself.

In China, many people eat dumplings for breakfast, and even for lunch and dinner. Yesterday I decided to make this delicious food for my family. This is my first time to make dumplings, so rolling dumpling wrappers （擀饺子皮）and making stuffing（馅）were difficult for me. 

Step 1 Some meat, one cabbage and one carrot were necessary. 

Step 2 To go with the stuffing, Mom asked me to cut up the meat and vegetables into small pieces so that I could easily make the stuffing with those pieces by adding salt and pepper. 

Step 3 I put the finished stuffing in a bowl. 

Step 4 I was going to make the dough. （面团）

Step 5 I cut the large pieces of dough into many small pieces, and the roll them into thin, round ones. 

Step 6 I put the stuffing in the center of a dumplingwrapper one by one with a spoon， and then folded（对折）thcm up. 

Step 7 Put the dumplings into a pot of water and cooked thein for a few minutes. 

In this way, I cooked delicious dumplings. 

Although it was difficult for me to make dumplings for the first time, with the help and warm encouragement （鼓励）of my family， I found the fun of cooking and thought it was a fresh and interesting experience.
