The Black family come to a new big city. Mrs Black's son, Bob,is not1. He doesn't have any friends to play2. "Don't worry!" says his mother. "You will soon makefriends here."

One 3,there is a knock at the door. Bob's 4,Mrs Black, opens it. There stands a woman with brown hair. It is Mrs White. Shecomes to 5someeggs. She wants to 6cakes.Mrs Black ends her two. In the afternoon, there is another knock at the door. MrsBlack opens it and sees a 7standingthere. "My name is Jack White," he says. "My mother sends 8 this cake and the two eggs. Mr Johnson lived in a village. He had a big farm and five {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(man) worked for him. He had lots of money but hoped to become much {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(rich). He tried to get everything and was very unkind to his workers so no one liked him.

One day, it rained {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (heavy). Mr Johnson went to his field to see if his workers were still working. While he {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(walk) on the bridge, he saw a beautiful box in the river. He was sure there was something expensive in it. Before {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(take) off his clothes, he jumped into the water. {#blank#}6{#/blank#}it was difficult for him to swim and he could not reach the box. So the water almost washed him away. He caught {#blank#}7{#/blank#}piece of wood in the river and shouted, "Help! Help!"

The workers ran to the river quickly and found Mr Johnson, but no one wanted to save him. His wife said, "We have been married {#blank#}8{#/blank#}nearly thirty years. I can't lose him. I'll give twenty dollars to the man who can save

A young man jumped into the river and wanted to save Mr Johnson. "The young man will save you," said his wife. "We should give him twenty dollars, I think."

"I don't think so," said Mr Johnson. "I will be half dead {#blank#}10{#/blank#}I am pulled out of the river, so I can only give him ten dollars!"

One day, all feelings were on vacation on an island, and each of them was having a good time. Suddenly, there was a warning of a strong storm, so all the feelings rushed to their boats. Yet, Love didn't want to run away quickly. But as the sky got dark, Love realised it was time to leave. But there were no boats to use. Love looked around with hope.

Just then Richness was passing by. Love asked, "Richness, can you take me with you?"Richness answered,"No, I can't. There's a lot of gold in my boat. There's no place here for you."

Sorrow passed by after a while. Again, Love asked for help. But it was useless. "No, I can't take you with me. I am so sad. I want to be by myself."

When Happiness passed by a few minutes later, Love again called for help. But Happiness was so happy that it couldn't care about anyone else.

Love was growing hopeless. Just then somebody shouted, "Come, Love, I will take you with me."Love jumped onto the boat happily, but didn't know who was giving a hand.

After getting off the boat, Love met Knowledge. Love asked,"Knowledge, do you know who was so kind to give me a lift when no one else wished to help?" Knowledge smiled,"That was Time."

"Time?"asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"Knowledge smiled and answered,"Because only Time is able to understand how valuable(有价值的) Love is."

 Hello, everyone. My name is Tom. It was fine last Saturday. My parents and I were so excited, because we visited the farm in the village. We took a car there in the early morning. After about two hours, we arrived there. Firstly, we took some photos in front of the gate. After that, one of the farmers showed us around the farm. On the farm, there are some crops(庄稼) and vegetables. They grow very well. We picked some fresh vegetables there. They cost(花费) us fifty yuan. At noon, we had lunch in a local restaurant. The food there was very fresh and delicious. In the afternoon, we helped the farmers feed the chickens and milk the cows. We felt they were so interesting.

 We had a good time on the farm. We want to go there again next time.
