Hello! My name is Rose. This is my home. We have three bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and two bathrooms. Look, this is my bedroom. It's small, but it's very nice. The wall is blue, and the bed is pink. My toys are under the bed. A desk is near the bed. My new schoolbag is on the desk. What's in it? Look! A maths book, four notebooks, three storybooks and some candies. It's heavy!

    Look! Kate is flying a bird kite. Oh, her kite is in the tree. And it is broken. She can't climb up the tree. Li Lei and Jim are coming here. Li Lei is helping her. He is getting the kite from the tree. But he can't get down. Jim is helping Li Lei. Li Lei is jumping to the wall. They are getting down from the wall. Kate, Jim and Li Lei are mending(修理) the kite under the tree. They are good friends.

    Mrs Mill goes to London. She doesn't know London well, and she loses her way. Suddenly, she sees a man near a bus stop. "I can ask him the way," she says to herself. "Excuse me, can you tell me the way to King Street?" she asks. The man smiles. He doesn't understand English. He's a tourist. He puts his hand into his pocket, and takes out a phrasebook (常用语手册). He opens the book and finds a phrase. He reads the phrase slowly. "I'm sorry," he says. "I do not speak English."

    There are many people in the street. Two boys are running. A car is coming from behind. It is very dangerous! A girl is riding a bike and talking on the phone. It is not safe. A young man is waiting for the green light. That is safe.

    Many children are playing in the park. Some are playing football and some are jumping rope. Some boys are swimming in the lake. That is dangerous.

    My name is Candy. I have a happy family. My father is a doctor. He is strong. He likes to help sick people. My mother is an English teacher. She is beautiful. She teaches English in our school. She likes to help children to learn. My brother is a cook. He is tall. He likes to cook good food. I am a pupil. I'm pretty. I'm good at English. But I like art best. I want to be a painter when I grow up. I love my family.
