A dog has a piece(片) of meat in his mouth. He sees himself(他自己) in the water. He thinks it is another dog. That dog has a piece of meat in his mouth，too. He wants to get(得到) his meat. Then he can have two pieces. He opens his mouth to bark(吠叫) and his meat goes down into(在……里面) the water.

    Last night, Tom got on a bus. He was lucky to have a seat near the window. He opened his newspaper and began to read.

    After passing a few bus stops, a woman got on the bus with a big basket. There were no empty seats. She came and stood right beside Tom.

    At that moment, Tom was reading his newspaper and didn't see her. A few minutes later he looked up and put his newspaper in his pocket (口袋). He tried to get out of his seat, but the woman pushed (推) him back into his seat quickly.

    He tried to stand up again, but again the woman pushed him back into his seat. Then she said, "please don't stand up. I don't want men to give their seat on buses. men and women are equal (平等的) now." But Tom looked at her angrily and said ," This time I am really going to stand up, madam. You've made me miss two bus stops and I'm too tired to miss the next one, too,"

    After hearing this, the woman was very embarrassed (尴尬) and let him go.

    Today we go to a farm. The weather is very nice. We go there by bus. It takes us fifty minutes to get there. There are many trees and beautiful flowers on the farm. Li Jun and Ben feed the pigs. The pigs are fat and strong. Near the pigs, there are some chickens walking under a big tree. Sally and Lisa feed some rice to them. We also see some Cows. The cows are stronger than the pigs. Yongxian and I milk the cows. Three boys plant a young tree with the help of a farm worker. Two girls water the young tree. We are very tired when we finish the work, but all of us are very happy.

    Jim is a pupil. He often walks to school at seven thirty. He also often rides his bike to school. He is in Class Two, Grade Six. He has four classes in the morning and two classes in the afternoon. He learns Chinese and English. Jim likes swimming, skating and ball games. In the afternoon, he often plays basketball with his classmates. He goes home at 5:00. He often does his homework in the evening. Sometimes he watches TV for an hour. He goes to bed at 9:00.
