    It is the Mid—Autumn Day today. My grandmother, parents and neighbours are celebrating the festival together. We are eating delicious moon cakes in the garden. And we are enjoying the beautiful round moon. We are also drinking Chinese tea. We are very happy.

A: Mike, come here, please.

B: Yes, Mum.

A: Look at this brown box. What's in it?

B: A toy car?

A: No.

B: A toy monkey, I think.

A: No, it isn't. Look! This is for you.

B: A toy horse! How lovely. I like it. Thank you, Mum!

    John had a race with his father and his friend Max. There were many people there. His father, Mr. Black, ran very fast, but John could not. There was nothing he could do. He was so worried. "I could run fast at school," he thought. "Why am I so slow now?"

    Then Robin said, "Drink this!" and gave John some water. John drank it and suddenly（突然地）he felt good. He could run fast again.

    There was a second race. There were many animals in that race. John ran like a cheetah. He could win the race! But suddenly he tripped and fell. Then he woke up. He was in bed. It was all a dream!

    Mike's school sent him an invitation.

    Mike is a little boy, and he doesn't like washing hands. Three or four times(次) every day his mother says to him, "Mike, your hands are very dirty(脏的). Go and wash them." But Mike never washes them well. He only puts his hands in the water and soon takes them out. Mike's uncle and aunt live in another city. One day, they come to see Mike's parents, and they take their small son, Ted, with them. Ted is one year younger than Mike, and he doesn't like soap(肥皂) or water, either.

    The boys sit with their parents for a few minutes(几分钟), and then they go out. When they are alone(单独的), Mike looks at Ted's hands and says proudly(自豪地), "My hands are dirtier than yours!"

     "Of course they are," Ted says. "You are older than I am."
