Thankfulness is like an arm that picks you up and holds you Thankfulness is an encouraging word from a friend that comes at the time you need it most. Thankfulness is a brother who believes in you. Thankfulness is a parent who tells you how he / she is proud of you. Thankfulness is your husband or wife who tells you how thankful he or she is for you, and all you do.

I say these things, not just because today is the special time of a year ——Thanksgiving Day, but because I have experienced all of the above in my life. I realize that not everyone comes from a loving family, and many of us feel very lonely, but I hope you can regard my words as something from a friend. I hope my words can encourage you.

According to . media reports on Wednesday, Zhang Zening, a woman from Nanjing City, East China's Jiangsu Province, has made more than 50 sets of Hanfiu, or traditional Chinese costume(服装).

Zhang majored in materials science and engineering when she was in college, and she gave up her job after falling in love with Hanfu. It has been 10 years since Zhang made Hanfu by herself because those of her favorite styles were not for sale. She taught herself painting and costume design, and visited a dozen Chinese cities to explore museums, as well as to draw inspiration from murals(壁画) and literature, before making over 50 different Hanfu from past dynasties.

Zhang said the design of Hanfu was inspired by the murals of past dynasties. "What I did is not only to restore(使复原) a piece of clothing, but more to feel the culture Hanfu possesses, as well as the inspiration and significance(意义) of the mural, which made me very touched and glad," she said.

In July this year, a group of international students from Canada visited Zhang, hoping to work together to restoring Hanfu based on murals that have been lost overseas. Zhang is excited about the project, saying, "Even if the national treasures cannot return to the country, restring Hanfiu based on them allows these lost treasures to be seen by more people. It's also a contribution from us young people. "

The year is 2045. A group of robots take part in the World Cup. Robots? Is that possible? Many scientists believe it can happen, because there are already robots that can play football. Of course, today's robots don't just play sports.

Early robots could do easy things, mainly in factories. Humans operated (操作) them. However, today's robots can operate on their own. Some can only move around a little, like the robots which can sweep the floor, but others, for example, Honda's ASIMO can do much more. He can run, climb, dance, and even play football.

Then there are robots which look like humans. These robots have faces and can show feelings. Such robots can learn new things, and show us how they "feel". Actroid -DER is one of them.

Scientists are also making robots that look and act like animals. At NASA, scientists are making a robot snake which can get into holes (洞). One day, it may help scientists look for signs of life on Mars. There are other animal robots. The frog-bot can jump over things. The sticky-bot can walk up walls. There's even a robot called Water Runner that can walk on water.

But can a robot football team ever play as well as a human team? Many scientists think so. Anything is possible. One day, they may even be world champions (冠军)!
