There's a new AI robot: ChatGPT. The tool is an AI chatbot system. OpenAI brought it to the public in November 2022 to show off and test what a very large，powerful Al system can achieve. ChatGPT remembers the main information of your dialogue, using previous(先前的)questions and answers to provide its replies. It gets the answers from a large amount of information on the Internet. 

You can ask ChatGPT anything，like explaining physics，asking for birthday party ideas and getting programming help. Perhaps it's not smart enough to replace all humans yet，but it can be creative，and its answers can sound very authoritative（权威的）. 

（A）ChatGPT is free to use at the moment because it is still in its research period. But when too many people visit its site，it overloads and can't deal with what you ask for. It just means you should try visiting the site at a later time when there are fewer people. （B）如果你不想等待，有一个适合你的选择。And this service does come at a cost of $20 monthly.

However ChatGPT can't replace Google at present. ChatGPT is a robot that provides replies to your questions，but Google is n search engine in which you can search for us much information as possible. ChatGPT his limited knowledge because of its programming, but Google has unlimited knowledge which is renewed every day.

Did you know that vocabulary is more important than grammar? If you have good vocabulary, you can communicate successfully, even if the grammar is not completely perfect.

However, one common problem is learning new words and then forgetting them. So when you want to use a new word in a conversation, you can't remember it at that moment. Does this often happen to you? The reason for this difficulty is that most students try to learn vocabulary by studying lists and dictionaries and remembering the words. But it may not work if you don5t have a very good memory.

The best way to learn vocabulary and remember the words well, is to learn new words and use them at once.

You can do this with a very simple exercise. Every time you learn a new word, for example, from an English lesson or an article, write it down in your vocabulary notebook. Writing is more active than just reading a definition. You should write the word, the definition in English or translation, one example sentence from the article or dictionary and one example sentence that you create.

Imagine you just learn the word "generous", write in your vocabulary notebook: generous (adjective), definition—giving or willing to give freely. Example one, from the article: Thanks for paying for my dinner, you're very generous. Example two, my example: My brother is generous because he volunteers at the animal shelter on weekends. It's best if your example sentences are true to your life, because this creates a personal connection with the new word. The next day, read your vocabulary notebook again and try to add one more example sentence using the new word. It's helpful for you to remember it. These two simple steps—writing the word and using it at once—help you remember and use new words.

The world may be a big place but when it comes to teenagers' reading habits, the differences are quite small. 

Recently young people from Japan, Brazil, China and England were asked questions about what, why and how often they read. The study, done by London university, wanted to find out if there were any important differences in teenagers' reading habits. 

In the study, 200 teenagers from each of the four countries were asked to make a list of what they read in a week. They were asked to write down why they read on their lists. Finally the teenagers said how much time they spent reading in a week. 

Here is some of what was found out. On average（平均）teenagers read for 17.5 hours per week. Japanese teenagers read for 18.5 hours per week, a little more than that from China（18 hours）, Brazil（17 hours）and England（16.5 hours）. Teenagers mainly read for two different reasons: "for study" and "for fun". in each country, they spent 60% of their reading time "for study" and 40% "for fun". Reading "for study" took so much of teenagers' time as most of them are still at school. 

The study also found what teenagers read was almost the same. Course books were the only thing they read "for study", but when it came to reading "for fun", teenagers most often mentioned newspapers, cartoons, sports magazines and storybooks（for more information, see the picture）.
