    I am Emily．I like strawberries．My grandfather likes apples．My father likes bananas．My mother likes pear．My brother likes watermelons．

    The traffic lights are the same in every country. There are always three lights: red, yellow and green. Red means "stop" Yellow means "Wait", and green means "Go". In most parts of China, drivers drive on the right side of the road. In the US, drivers drive on the right side too. In England and Australia, however, drivers drive on the left side of the road. If you go by car, by bike or on foot, you must know the traffic rules.

    It is a rainy day．A beautiful woman with a dog gets on a bus．The dog is big．Its feet are not clean．The conductor(售票员)doesn't want the dog to sit on the chair．But the woman says to the conductor,"I can buy a ticket(票)for my dog．Can he sit here like other people?"The conductor looks at the dog and says，"Yes，madam，but like other people，he must not put his feet on the chair．"

Ms. White: How many subjects do you have, children?

Children: We have seven.

Ms. White: What's your favourite subject, Xiaoling? Why?

Xiaoling: My favourite subject is PE. I like to play sports.

Ms. White: What's your favourite subject, Ben?

Ben: My favourite subject is computer. I like to play computer games.

Ms. White: What about you, Jiamin?

Jiamin: I like science best. I like to understand the world.

Ms. White: And you, Ann?

Ann: My favourite subject is art. I like to draw pictures.

Ms. White: Do you like art too, Mike?

Mike: No, I don't. I like maths best. I like to use numbers.
