My name is Robinson Crusoe, and I was born in the city of York in 1632. My father was a successful businessman. I had two elder brothers. One of them worked in the army(军队) and was killed during the war against Spain. The other was missing one day, and we never knew what had happened to him. My father gave me a good education and wanted me to be a lawyer(律师). 

However, I wanted to be a sailor(海员) and go to sea. My father was very angry with me. He didn't understand why I wanted to leave his house, where I would have an easy and comfortable life.

"Two kinds of people go to sea, " he said. "They are the very poor people and the very rich people. The poor are foolish, having no other ways to live. The rich own ships and can make money with them. You are neither too poor nor too rich, so you should stay at home with your mother and me. Your elder brother didn't listen to me, and now he is dead. If you do not listen to me, you will have a difficult life!"

I tried to do what he wanted me to do, but I couldn't. I spoke to my mother.

"Please ask Dad if he will let me have one voyage(航行) by sea, " I asked her. "When I return, I will live the life he wants me to live. "

Mum was angry. "Your father will not let you go. I don't want you to go to sea either. It's dangerous. "

I argued(争吵) with my parents for another year. Then, I went to Hull with a friend who was going to London by ship. He invited me to go with him, and I agreed. I didn't even tell my parents before leaving. I just went. That was how all my bad luck began.

Everyone knows a power nap(小睡) feels good. If power naps fit right into your normal sleep/ wake cycle(周期), they can really help you get through the day.

Our bodies have a timekeeper called the circadian rhythm(昼夜节律). It helps you fall asleep, wake up, and feel more or less tired throughout the day. It also changes during the day, as shown in the picture below.

As we can see, the circadian rhythm is low between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. To improve your attention, productivity and memory, a power nap may be the answer.

In studies, a 10- minute afternoon nap is the best in improving your energy. And, it makes sense to nap around 2:00 pm.

Besides the length and the timing, there are other ways to have power naps:

●Try deep- breathing as you start.

●Choose a quiet, darkened place. A sleep mask may help.

●Lie down or sit in a comfortable chair.

●Listen to soft music.

●Give yourself a few minutes to refresh after your nap. Try a bit of stretching(伸展) and walking around.

I'm Mary from England. Now I'm in a middle school in Beijing. I'm in Class 5, Grade 7. Look! This is a photo of our classroom. There are twenty-one desks and forty chairs in it. Two students share a desk. And there is also a desk for our teachers in the front of the classroom.

Our classroom is big and tidy. There are two maps in the classroom. They are a map of China and a map of Beijing. There are no computers in the classroom. But there is a bookcase (书架).There are many books in it. We can read them, but we can only take one book at a time. There are only a few books on our desks. Most of our books are in our desks. We like our classroom very much. What about yours?

Nowadays, there are more and more TV talent shows and they are very popular all over China. Young people like watching TV talent shows best. 

These talent shows give everyone a chance to show their talents. For some lucky people，these talent shows may make them famous, and can even make them rich. However，there are also bad sides. First, some young people just imitate the people they admire (钦佩). They just do the same things as the people they admire. They may forget about their own styles. Second，young people spend too much time on such TV shows，and they always dream of being stars，so they spend less time on their studies or work. 

In my opinion, these shows are social activities. Young people can get social experience by taking part in social activities. But they should know that becoming famous is not that easy for most people. They should work hard at something more important—their study or work. In short, they can do what they like, but they should know what is important and what is not.

I'm Noah, and I'm 28 years old. I grew up in Germany. When I was little, I always enjoyed playing football with my friends. I joined my first football club when I was about 4 or 5 years old, and I've never stopped playing football since then. 

Something important in my football journey happened after my second year at a football training school, when I had the chance to come to the US. I thought that I could receive a good education there and fought for my dream of a football career(事业) at the same time. After that, I started my career. If there is a night match, a football player needs to stay calm. However, I don't do anything special about it. I spend my day as usual. I may read a book, watch a movie, or study. 

One of the most important moments in my career was in 2022, when our team won first place in a game. Everyone was surprised at it. But no team can win all the time. When you lose a game, you don't need to be sad but turn to do something harder. When you grow older, you may find playing games much more difficult. The key is to enjoy every moment on the football field.
